I remember moving to Yaletown in the early 2000’s, back when it was actually cool to live there, and walking to some bars or to a friends place and passing by some incredibly sexy and hawt looking women on Seymour. This was before the high rise across from the Penthouse went up and shortly thereafter. I was too shy back then to give one a try but damn, I really wanted to. Eventually a friend was in town and he convinced me to go in on picking up two women to go back to his hotel with. He soured the entire ordeal by constantly saying how cheap women were in Thailand, which eventually led to nothing happening since the girls had enough sense of worth to tell him (us) to get fucked. It took ten years for me to dip my toes in starting with R&Ts.
Anyway, yeah, there used to be some incredible women on Seymour

Dude, you won't find fancy or "high end" street hookers just roaming around in Vancouver. You might come across some in nightclubs instead.
I remember a provider telling me about a client who wanted her to dress up as a street hooker, and then go on the street for him to pick her up for a for a fantasy appointment type thing. You can ask some providers if they're okay with doing something like that. Now that i'm thinking about it, that sounds like a hot roleplay to try out haha.
It’s still ok, just not like it used to be. It was very different around 2003-2010.
When Seymour was the high track, you often saw rip offs there. In the days before PERB, late 90s, there were plenty of reviews online of hi track ladies charging drunk idiots 500-1000 and ripping them off. On a business trip in 97 or 98, I had one conversation as I was walking to the Penthouse for a beer with my co-workers and she quoted me 800. I laughed and kept walking.
The women that used to stand in front of the Georgia Hotel were incredibly beautiful, classy and big step up from their sisters on Seymour, Richards and the West End. It was something to see.

It was discussed and has been more than a few times the past few years but always good to get an update. Can't speak to other parts of Vancouver but I regularly travel from parts west along 12th to Kingsway and east, from mid to late evenings. Up to covid there were usually a sampling of gals along that Fraser through to Slocan strip, some real head turners. Lately, nada. This is a sampling of one a few times a week so take it FWIW.
Yes of course!!!. Just east of main and hastings for A quick affordable blow in your car. bring air freshener.
I've lived in Vancouver since 2011, and honestly I cannot say I've seen street hooker in DT. At least not the ones describe in this thread, but I wasn't actively looking for then so I wasn't paying much attention.
In DT Montreal and there was a fair number of girls I would described as "street hookers", heavy make-up, trashy clothes and smoking. Van is just too peaceful & boring atmosphere.

The period they are talking about was from the 80s up to the late 90s . The changes of zoning between Howe and Homer and between Smite and Drake , construction of highrises and the rise of the Internet changed the landscape for SW.
Some other streets could be added or subtracted depending on the period if I recall.
