The path of least resistance. The west has become society of excess lawyers and onlyfans models instead of a world of doctors and nurses.

I think only lawyers and other asset-pushing professions can afford to fund the Only Fans models.
Circular argument though, since some Only Fans models have to hire lawyers to defend themselves against prudes who govern their other professions.

The whole economy needs overhauling. Self-entitlement the name of the game in Canada’s fake economy where nobody produces and everyone consumes as government figures out how to keep the value of the Canadian dollar up abroad, primarily by selling real estate to moneyed overseas interests. The hypocrisy of protecting the environment with insane increases in population. Canadians dozed since World War II letting their manufacturing base disappear. Automated AI or not, Canadians desperately need to produce the dollar value of products that Canadians consume to have a sufficiently skilled work force to draw upon to mitigate disasters in, eg. homelessness, Mountain Pine Beetle infestation, hours commuting daily, forest fire management and now medical care.

Interesting article on CBC discussing how Canadian born doctors returning to practice in Canada. The evaluation people have slowed the process and a few thousand Canadians are not permitted to practice at home.

it's not just that, it's also the provinces, mostly

there are doctors being trained here, not that there shouldn't be more spots opened in Universities for just the family Dr's, rural areas, pay their way, incentives

but the real problem is getting a spot in a hospital to do their residency

heard this 15 years ago from my dentist who had friends who couldn't find a spot back then, couldn't work till they finished the requirements

it was in the news the other day, lots of Dr's with no placement available

that's the province's fault, same with spots in schools

that fucking piece of shit demented drunk Klien cut spots and funding back in the 90"s in Alberta

to all the morons who think that fucking moron was great, he fucked that up and we've been paying for it for 30 years

My opinion here.
The College of Physicians is one of the most corrupt groups anywhere. They dictate much of the cost of our health care system, from the various private companies they have started (skewed in any RFP process for service/software/consumables etc) through Dr to Dr investigation or non-investigation to 'allowing' who they want to practice in their system.
Its all fucked up.
