Is pooning really cheaper than having a girlfriend? I'm inclined to say no...but do enlighten me. Reasons why:

1) Upfront costs may be higher (dinner, activities, movie, multiple dates) but once things are set, sex can happen 2,3 times a day...or even once a week. That's like saving urself $150-300 a pop.

2) Assuming the relationship is monogomous-u can have condom free sex! That's like saving $50 a pop.

3) As time passes, u don't have to do all the costly activities and instead just opt for takeout and a night in...and still have sex.

Reasons why not;

1) Sex isn't guaranteed (but according to reviews, neither is pooning)

2) Sex with the same person gets boring - agreed.

3) You can do wilder things with an sp. Guess the depends on ur gf.

4) Sp can be model hot. (So could a gf or close to..)

Am I mis-reading? Condoms cost you $50 everytime you see an escort? I'm allergic to latex and go through an average of 3 condoms per appointment and that costs me $10. If you are spending "$50 a pop" I am REALLY impressed...especially if you are using latex, that would be like 65 condoms!

I agree, my experience here hasn't been long and remarkable, but I would say that the dating period has been on average more expensive than sps, in my case, and my idea is that this is more true when dealing with young asian women who usually expect you pay every their need. Once, I have dated three asian girls in one week, bring them to disco, jazz clubs, restaurants, cinema, and it ended up in nothing, and I'm not ugly nor unpolite. who cares if it's cheaper? Well really I don't. I only thought it made for an interesting topic and I've come across some sites where a selling feature for sp's is that its cheaper than a date since u factor in sex at the end of the evening.

How valuable is your time?

Really - the two are like comparing apples and oranges. A 'real' relationship wrought with the drama, time, compromise, chores, doing things she wants to do but you have no interest in, long talks etc. versus an idealized version of a girlfriend for a few hours.

If you are strictly referring to the sexual aspect of it, and the investment required 'per shot', then it really becomes more about what your time is worth to you.

For many people, time is their most precious commodity, and being in a relationship is extremely taxing on that. The actual purchases in a relationship are the smallest investment of all. If the only reason you want to be involved is for sex, I truly feel sorry for your partner.

Let's say a relationship takes 20 hours a week of effort and in return you get 4 hours worth of what you consider fun time. If you earn more in 5 hours at your job than the price of an hour of time with a lovely Vancouver escort, then it is better from an investment standpoint to use a companion.

Of course there are a host of pros and cons for both types of relationships. However, the financial aspect of it really depends on the value of your time.

Just add up the costs of a night out...dinner, movie , drinks, etc...
