Is it reasonable to take deposit for incall?

Says on ad that deposit was required for outcall. Tried to book a session for incall, but was asked for $50 deposit. Couldn't find any reviews, so red flags went off. Provider isn't responding to the fact that ad doesn't ask for deposit for incall.

I'm newer to the hobby, but from what I've experienced so far, I've never put a deposit down for incall. I can sorta understand short-term travellers, they need to guarantee time slots, but is this the industry norm?

Other French Lia 1444 was sweet and easy to book, this one not so much lol.

Maybe a combination of decentralised identity on Microsoft's recently launched ION network and something like sphinx.chat (chat protocol on top of a payment protocol).

Hey fellas, I can confirm this is the real Lia/Marguerite. I've seen her a few times and for one of them she came to my apartment for the session. We finished and she left my suite but her ride took off on her so she called me back and came up to wait for her friend. We sat on the patio and had a beer and chatted it was actually super cool. Never pay a deposit. Only a fool or providers trying to promote this practice would pay a deposit. Too many other ladies out there you can see without a deposit.

Here is an idea, customers require a deposit when booking, and when customer shows up and its a B&S, then at least his gas is paid for....lol
In my opinion paying a deposit is just opening doors for scammers, and if you look on LL, more and more are asking for deposits, and why might you ask....? Well because too many small heads are going for it, and get royally ripped off.
i think in this business, I agree SP take a risk every time they book someone, either a no show, in that case solution is block the clients number, or have to face creeps, that are disrespectful or abusive and will not pay once the session is over...
On the other hand, we customers are asked to hand over $50, no questions asked, and then trust the SP that she will provide the service as advertised, and is not 20 years older than what she posted, really.....
So in my case I will not blindly dish cash upfront, if the SP can’t trust my honesty and sincerity, why should I trust in return.
in my business, no one throws cash at me even before meeting, and lots of my projects go passed the 30% and sometimes 40% completion before I can get my first draw of 25%.
So, these ladies can go and request a deposit if they wish on the excuses of NO SHOWS, but I’m certainly not going to encourage that trend.
