Today someone asked me for a "sample". I sent a boob shot, then they wanted a kitty pic. I mean, I'm not giving stuff away for free, I'm still an escort.

Is asking for a "sample" ok?

I don’t think it is cool to ask for a sample, but I have a decent amount of free content on twitter and pornhub I refer them to. It may help your decision making to know I never hear back from a “sampler”.

I really don't know. Maybe post a sample of each picture and let us all decide via a poll whether you should be sharing for free or not.

Hard to say - Some ladies are very strict about "being covered" and some aren't. It also depends on your portfolio. I don't think there is anything wrong with asking to see your content, but only 2-3 photos that leave it up to the imagination.

A picture or two seems reasonable, doesn't have to be anything special, just a photo.
But if they need more than that, tell them to go jump off a bridge.

You've been in the industry for awhile, and you already have pictures on the internet for him to look at before he purchases your services. Asking for more is nothing but cheapskate WOT picture collecting bullshit.

I suppose it all depends on how an SP defines "online services", what's being offered, what's the rate, and how you present your brand. Samples are "okay" within reason. I mean, if you got a guy on the hook that might genuinely be interested (on your discretion), why not give a sample? But if he's acting like a spoiled brat who strayed from his mother at Safeway to harass the sample-lady at the end of the Triscut aisle, asking for more...sure, tell him to fuck off.

I would never ask for a “sample”. However, I would expect there to be some pics tasteful or otherwise available via your ad, Twitter feed, etc. So I know what I’m in for. I do a lot of research before laying out my hard earned cash, so just make sure you have a profile to point potential clients to. You decide how much to show and if that’s not enough for them, it’s probably not going to be a great session anyways or they’re just angling to get stuff for free.

I think samples are perfectly reasonable. He provides a sample of his money and she provides a sample of her entertainment. Even trade.

Fire up a pay site like onlyfans and from the good stuff posted there, take off teaser snippets and post them on Twitter, instagram, Snapchat premium etc. You can even string together pics and post them on YouTube and have the link private and view the access metrics.

If they are free-pic hunters, text counts beyond simple availability price and restriction queries, just put a cap on messages that don’t appear to be trending to an appointment and just make up some policy that after 5 or so texts and still no appointment is made, direct them to a self-serve website to schedule.

A lawyer that charge the same as service providers would put up with the same crap so follow their lead and update your billing policy and post it someplace.

I agree that asking for a sample is very odd. I would assume a provider you are interested in engaging with online has sufficient content somewhere accessible (ads, twitter, etc.)

Not to mention, many providers are now not only doing video/phone sessions, but are actually selling their photos. So asking a lady for this kind of "sample" is asking them to give a service for free.

As we navigate these changing times, our online etiquette must also rise to the standard required.

If they are a complete unknown with no samples, yes. Otherwise they can point you to whatever free content hey have advertising the rest. Way too many scammers out there right now otherwise.
