Is it normal practice to ask provider for STD report?

I've had discussions in the past about ladies wanting an STD report, but honestly I'm not even sure if one exists, perhaps others can enlighten me. I have been tested in a walk in medical clinic and all they say is that we're going to do these kinds of tests and we'll contact you if we find anything. Since I was never contacted I assume they never found anything, but they never provided me a report saying I had a clean bill of health with respect to STD's, I was simply never contacted. So can you get an actual report and how common is it that one is issued?
Yes. You can request a copy of the report mailed to you when you go for the blood test.
I've been called "classless" by another provider for this, but I keep printouts of all my reports and they are always available for clients to see (check my faqs: www.emmystclaire.com/faqs.htm) However, only two people have ever asked to see them.
For me, it's not so much about the reports themselves, as it is about me being open and honest in my business (which I feel I owe to my clients)

I used to show my clients my report when requested, but then Kitty was right. My personal info was on it. I stopped showing it after I realized that I had to show my ID to prove it was me. I find that if a girl in this industry gets something. Its not from her job. It came from their personal life (their SO was out messing around on them w/o a condom). Most girls in this industry will have nothing with the exception of a yeast infection every now and then. But that happens to alot of girls and not from being sexually transmitted. example, antibiotics, wearing nylon panties, bubble baths etc.

I PREFER that they ask! This means that they care about their health and mine. I am tested once a month and always have a very recent test to show. Just cover your personal info with your thumb.

With all due respect, at 400 an hour? the phone is not ringing off the hook like a an 80 an hour girl. Its just common sense.
