is it just me or are we all tired of this hobby?

I think we get bored because we are usually disappointed. Most of the SPs are older, fatter, more mechanical, less skilled and don't live up to our need for excitement or fantasy - not surprising really. A few (Laiya, Taylor, Victoria-Lee) meet or even exceed our expecations but with most I am reminded of what Mr Smith would say: "That, Mr Anderson, is the sound of inevitability"
ya we are not bored just pissed off with the very shity Sp's. And there is no guarantee that paying say in the upwards of 7 browns is goign to make any differnece at all.
maybe it's a sign of us needing a few new gems.

As far as the same people on here, yah it's the same old tired posters that create and resond to the each-others posts, but it's better than the other board, which has gone the way of the doo-doo.

a friend of mine told me that I need to take up a new hobby. oh yah jackfrost did a review on her in the massage section she has a really nice ass. anyways i was talking to her on the phone and yes she said i need a new hobby. now my problem is I have too many different hobbies so much so that i have trouble doing anything at all because i want to do too many things at once. inate need to multitask better than windows. which is probably why i'm on the computer all the time even when i'm not doing anything.
in short. the answer to this riddle is simply this, use the would be pooning money on another hobby before the need to go pooning arises that way there is no more money to poon with. its the only real way especially when u have the need to go get a massage as often as i do, back problems and also its more fun to go to an mp than the regular MT

Tired of the hobby? Then quit. Of the percentage of people here who talk about retiring how many actually do? I've seen a few names pop back up after all the goodbyes. Not as easy as it seems.
Vancouver needs new gems. Yes, that would be nice. Fresh meat is always nice but what hypocrites we are. Quit bitching and actually look for them. The reason there aren't as many gems as we like is because everyone always wants someone else to take one of the team first. It's always easier if its someone elses time and money. There are still gems to be discovered. For the most part its human nature to want keep the gems for ourselves until we move on to the next gem.
Think the scene in Vancouver is dry? As the old adage goes "grass is always greener" on the other side. I know for a fact there are a fair number of Seattle pooners seem to think Vancouver is pooning heaven.
It wouldn't hurt for the scene here to improve but if you're so sick of it, just quit or take a nice vacation to somewhere where our dollar goes further.

I recently posted a thread asking west coast fellas about this very question! And most agreed that the choice, service, looks & attitudes of TO SPs is much better. I'm not sure why that is, since many guys here really go for Asian girls, and considering the vast number of Asians in Vancouver I thought it would be good.
But now that I think of it, I have heard that SOME Asian girls are not as hygienic as they should be. At least here in TO I've heard that before, so maybe it's more hit & miss with them.
BTW, what is the population of Vancouver now? That could have something to do with it also.

Aurora, if you ask westcoasters what they think of the scene here you will get the answer you are looking for. Everyone likes to complain. The fact of the matter is Toronto is a bigger city than Vancouver. Naturally there will be more ladies available there to pick and choose from. There was a very recent post here about prices which you probably read. The general consensus was the economic rule of supply and demand still holds true. A lady can charge whatever she wants and if she doesn't get the business she needs, she will drop her rates. I don't hear of sps dropping their rates so they must be getting what they ask for. There must be a reason for that. True we have a large number of asians in our population but only a small handful are independents. I can say of the small handful that are independents, they have a high percentage of satisfaction from clients. I don't think Vancouver has more asian sps than Toronto so your point may be lost.

Well I think I might have to disagree with you a little bit green lantern seattle is wat smaller then vancouver but it seems that we have far more choices down here as far as sps go just that it is a bit more pricey here then it is in vancouver, then you have to look at victoria versus vancouver and you have to ask why the huge difference.
Perhaps people get bored because the SP industry in each city has the same girls and requires an injection of fresh and exciting new blood. Or someone who rises out of obsurity and into popularity due to posting here or some people voicing some rave reviews.
I am definitely not bored with seeing SPs, but maybe with this board. There are many SPs in Vancouver who provide good value, and many who do not. You need to do your research. All of may experience in Van is incall, and all my experience in Toronto (quite good, but not cheaper) was outcall, so it is difficult to compare. My best experiences in terms of cost and quality have been in Montreal, though I have not been there for a couple of years.
