Is going for the specials frowned upon?

I'm new to this. I was thinking and looking at places that often offer specials almost every day. Is it wrong or cheap to go often just for the specials? More like how business looks at me.

What? What are you worried about?

I go to happy hours all the time. Restaurant doesn’t have any opinion about me. I would suggest it’s similar. If you pay the price they are offering something at, i would assume you’re fine.

No shame in a good deal haha. Although the bento place near me has started to recognize me since I go in 30 minutes before store closing to get the 50% off every day.

If you are talking about massage parlours offering “specials” ,

Most of those ones are fairly sh*t service in general ,

majority of those specials are also just to get you in the door to upsell you to the experience you actually want .

They know once your dick is hard your brain will no longer think clearly .
By the time you leave you will have paid two to three times more than if you had just gone to the right place to begin with .
On top of that the girl will be far less attractive than what you are imagining and likely far older.

It will feel more like flushing money down the toilet .

Just pay for the experience you know you want.

or you could do what I did and learn the hard way by flushing your money down the toilet a couple times first and leaving w a sense of shame about the experience in general .

Although I am a few years shy of 65, I have occasionally been given the seniors discount at some events or businesses. I suppose I should be offended, but I don’t correct their mistaken assumption about my age. Ten bucks is ten bucks.

It would be nice if SPs and AMPs gave a seniors discount, but it doesn’t seem to be a thing.

I'm 66 and have begun asking about seniors discounts wherever I go. Things aren't going to get cheaper as time goes on and I'll take any discount I can (just another cheap old guy). 😁

"BC Ferries passenger fares are free for BC residents aged 65 and older traveling Monday through Thursday, excluding statutory holidays. To qualify, seniors must present valid identification such as a BC Services Card, BC Gold Care Card, or BC Driver’s License.

While passenger travel is free during these days, vehicle fares still apply for seniors driving their cars. This discount covers most routes, though northern routes offer a 33% discount instead of free travel, and specific exceptions like the Inside Passage or Haida Gwaii may have different rules. Travel on Fridays, weekends, and holidays requires payment of the standard adult fare.

Walk-on fares are completely free for BC residents aged 65 and older traveling Monday through Thursday (excluding statutory holidays).
Since you are not bringing a vehicle, you pay $0 for your passenger fare on these days.
You simply need to present valid identification proving your age and BC residency at the terminal.
