Fair enough, Kayla. But keep in mind that management plays a big part in running any business, MP or otherwise. It is the owner/manager who sets the agenda, standards and the conditions in which you work. A poor attitude at the top trickles down to the employees in the form of bad morale, high turnover and the inability to recruit the best personnel. And if the employees are not being treated well, who do they take it out on: yes, the clientele. It's true that a business needs to make a profit to stay afloat, but if it doesn't place any value on service and retaining regular customers (the bread and butter of any profitable enterprise) then it will not survive for long. Clock-watching, gouging and bait-and-switch tactics are coffin nails in this town.
Anyway, good luck with your new position!
