Any thoughts on this? It's like he's not even on the team anymore. You never hear "boo" about the guy???

Has he played his last game? His last game as a Canuck?

He was out doing the Public Relations / Community Spirit thing today. Several hundred lined up in Richmiond to see him and get autographs.

i think that he is done as a canuck, with auld stepping up i think they will let cloutier go just to save cap space and try to sign other players or keep the ones they have

I'd love to see Cloutier gone... But Dave Nonis seems to have the same 'inability to pull a trade' diease that plagued Brian Burke. Cloutier, Bertuzzi, Jovonoski, Morrison, should all be packing their bags this summer. Unfortunately none of them are is going to be worth much on the trade market.

The Canucks need to make changes this off season.

Well said. Vancouver will never win a Stanley Cup with Cloutier 'cause Cloutier will never win the cup. Trade 'em all and get a goalie who has been to the big game and won.

Sometimes I wonder why I even watch the Canucks:confused:

your mom says hi.
he should have been gone at the beginning of the year, jovo and shituzzi as well. but in all fairness who knew that shituzzi would play this bad. the only good moves that the canucks made in my opinion was signing the last brother for the "brothers line".

His career never started as far as I am concern, because he sucked during the playoffs. Trade the guy for goodness sake. Bring back Kirk McLean would be a better option than keeping Cloutier.

Those active 'big game winners' would be: Ed Belfour, Martin Brodeur, Dominik Hasek, Curtis Joseph, Nikolai Khabibulin, Chris Osgood. Some you will never get and some you probably don't want.
Sonny, you threw Joseph in there just to fuck with everybody, right? Unlike the others listed, he's never won the Cup, and never been close despite playing on several teams who considered themselves legit Stanley Cup contenders. Ask any of his past team-mates over a cold one and they'll tell you they love the guy but can't win with him. Actually, that's just what the media and majority of Canucks fans deserve.
