You can either buy it from Rogers or ebay unlocked for around $500-700 new depending on if its the 16gb or 32

just bought one from telus this weekend. Had 13 months left on my old contract. Got it for $399. Basically cancelled my old plan with no penalty and signed up for a new one supported by the Iphone.

If you do get one, make sure it will work on the new HSPA networks, not just the older GSM one...

You can just go to your local Apple store and purchase one if you want no contract.

Or try eBay. I'm sure there's tons of iPhone 3Gs being dumped now that the GS is the standard.
But really what is the point of an iPhone without the data?
