Does anyone know how the hell I can turn off the View Most Recently Used Menus first option in IE 6.0.29? I am running XP Pro SPk2. With the new update it only does this for the Favorites menu, but even that bugs me since I run my monitor at high res 1152 x 864.

I know how to turn this stupid option off for Office XP Pro Word and Excel, but can't find the option in IE 6. It's not under Internet Options => Advanced unless it is named something super misleading (which is not past MS).

I recall there being a tool tip that said "where are my other favorites" and it indicating the option could be changed in Internet Options, but I have searched there and on the web for an ansmwer to this.

I really hate every Microsoft option that tries to figure out what I want to do as they tend to be right maybe only around 30% of the time, so I always try to find ways to turn off all that s#*t...

Thanks Hitrack.

Ah. I see by "Personalized" they meanTake Away All Control. Talk about misleading...

Typical MS BS: "Do you really want to disable this indispensible ability to customize your environment, solve world hunger, find free pussy and make your life generally wonderful?"

so, Yes, Firefox has this problem and here's a dummies guide to fix it.

or, No, not to worry, go back to Led Zep albums and bong built out of old VW bug ...
