I don't know if this is new or just new to me, but I was "doing the books" this morning in Quicken and I discovered a very strange charge on a card I don't use any more. I googled it and the name came back with several hits fraud.
I guess the gig goes like this:
1. They create a very generic sounding online company with a mail drop address & get a credit processing account with Visa, MC or AmEx.
2. Start to make small changes to stolen card numbers. The charges are small intentionally so you won’t give them a second thought. They then just keep processing more charges every few days. A common charge name is “Digital Age” with what appears to be a toll free phone number after it.
My credit card company had already heard of this.

Kind of a slick idea - instead of getting you one time for a lot of money - they just latch onto your card number like a parasite and milk you for a few dollars every week or 2.
Take a look at your accounts on line & let's be careful out there!
If you see it, call your credit card company, report it as fraud & cancel the card number!
