Backpage now requires that you post a social media profile link in your ads now. So they have to have an account, but don't have to use it.

It doesn't really help that much. One of the links I clicked on was for Kobe Bryant lol. Kinda makes me think the fakes can just use the instagram profile they're stealing pics from and make themselves seem more legit

Maybe we can report ads with fake instagram accounts so that eventually it will clean up?

Absolutely you should! Whatever can be done to make it a challenge for crooks to take your money, do it.

Most of their accounts are dorment. None have anything posted their so really doesn't help.
