Had my second session of waxing, and this one included the upper pubes.

Unfortunately have got 3 ingrown hairs. Right now they are very noticeable. Does something like that bother, or concern an SP, or do they recognize these things happen?

Or, should I just wait to poon for a week until they settle down?

Have not province
I used to pluck the pubic hairs on my testicles and while you get ingrown hairs and they go away by "sprouting" through, I ended up with one that produced a noticeable discoloured bump that looked like a genital wart so yes any lady will deny you service. It grew to the point where the trapped hair pushed the skin out. I ended up making a small slice on the "head" of the growth and the ingrown hair "spring-loaded" out in a tangled coil.

exfoliate the area daily after you shower and then put a good cream/lotion on. it will reduce the number of ingrown hairs considerably, you may not even get one by doing this.
Yeah, I forgot to do that. Good advice. Luckily these are just small, and are maybe more irritation from being ripped out by the roots, than ingrown hairs.

I swear by this for ingrown hairs and razor bumps. I first discovered this at a makeup conference when I first became a professional makeup artist and it’s been my go to my whole adult life. It’s on Amazon, but you can find it in other stores too. It works amazing!

Benefits of Witch Hazel for Ingrown Hairs
Witch hazel is effective for treating ingrown hairs due to its natural properties. Here are the key benefits:

Anti-Inflammatory Properties
  • Reduces redness and swelling around the ingrown hair.
  • Soothes irritation, providing relief from discomfort.
Astringent Effects
  • Helps tighten skin and cleanse pores.
  • Prevents future ingrown hairs by keeping hair follicles clear.
How to Use Witch Hazel
To maximize the benefits of witch hazel for ingrown hairs, follow these steps:

  1. After Hair Removal: Apply witch hazel immediately after shaving or waxing to calm the skin.
  2. Application Method: Use a cotton pad to gently pat witch hazel onto the affected area.
  3. Frequency: For best results, use witch hazel daily on areas prone to ingrown hairs.
Choosing the Right Product
When selecting witch hazel, consider the following:

  • Alcohol-Free: Opt for alcohol-free formulas to avoid drying out the skin.
  • Natural Ingredients: Look for products that include soothing components like aloe vera or chamomile.
Ive been using Witch hazel last 20 years after learning it from my x who swore by it, using it everytime after shaving her kitty . I still miss her sweet cute peachy smooth kitty.😼🥂

With consistent waxing on a regular basis, the root hairs tend to get smaller.

Also a good waxer will look over the waxed skin and look for unremoved hair, and ingrown hair. Most waxers wax and move on right away.
