Independant in Vegas

Hey Guys,
I'm off to Vegas & L.A next week. I was surfing through some sites for independant SP's (some very nice ones) Most ads do not post their $$. I would like to call and inquire, but not give them wrong idea. Is there a polite way to ask for their rates and any "hidden" costs? Also, can anyone recommend any sites?
