Go to home depot.
Watch Utube videos. You need to watch 5-6 different tutorials to get the drift of how to change your sink. Always silicone around your sink and countertop; and between faucets and countertop/sink.
Everything today is quick connecting.

For actual plumbers, you pay for the parts (sink, valves, new flex lines (hot and cold), drain line, trap (for drain)), etc and the shop fixed rate (over 120+/hr for overhead, even though the plumber only makes 45/hr).

When I moved into my place 12 years ago I replaced the bathroom faucet myself with an unknown product from Rona after having to return an inferior knock-off of a renowned German-American brand. I walked up to the counter with the exchange and informed the store clerk: If I'm going to get something from China, I'm going to get something less expensive and pointed out how the knock-off base plate gasket would squirm out of shape to allow filth accumulation between the faucet and sink.

For a running toilet, it's just toilet tank silt accumulation interfering with the rubber valve at the bottom of the tank. Maybe ask a male strata council member to come in and lift the top of the tank off, reach through the depth of water and lift the soft rubber valve up, wipe the underside of the valve with the fingers as the water runs into the the toilet bowl and gently stir the silt on the bottom of the tank to run out with the water. If necessary after the tank refills, repeat to remove any remaining accumulation.

Loose toilet seats to tighten require a common flat bladed screwdriver. If the toilet plugs try a cup full of bleach overnight to soften deposits on the inside of the exit hole or what Google calls a "siphon jet". Next day with an old kitchen scowering pad, rub around the interior of exit hole as far in as possible to remove deposits. If nothing works I'd suggest the Vancouver area BBB, the Better Business Bureau and type in "plumbing" at search bar at the top of the page for a list:

Incredibly courteous service from a man over 20 years ago to select and replace a kitchen faucet. Flat fee plus parts and any time remaining on the appointment spent on any question or minor plumbing.
