It seems like that district might offer more for less. I've seen it referenced in straight tourist guides as a place that is full of just what I might like.

Were you staying at a hotel? I made the mistake of booking an AirBNB and security wouldn't let me bring a non-registered "friend" into my suite. The girl recommended we go to a love hotel 15 minutes away, which didn't sound appealing at all. You never really know the amount of privacy or freedom to have a guest that you'll have at an Airbnb or regular hotel until you're checked in and familiar with the place but love hotels are so plentiful and quite affordable and most definitely they are a safe place to go where most of the girls are probably more comfortable anyways so I wouldnt worry about losing your kidneys hahah 😉 and they can be a lot of fun too and have features that can add to the memory and experience.
