In 2017 Canadians get to see Super Bowl Ads - good or bad?

For years we have been unable to see the creme de la creme of advertising genius's work from the USA on Super Bowl Sunday.

One question: Do you think not being able to see the United States Broadcasting their Ads into Canada on one day of the year saved and preserved Canadian Heritage?

So many entertaining advertisements for many products I don't give a shit about, yet our government has determined years ago one day of the year would preserve Canadian Broadcasting from the American broadcasting networks.

It's like I have to wear four full body suit condoms to protect myself from the Evil Empire south of the 49th.

My point is we see the entire event as its broadcast. I dislike Comrad Big Brother in Ottawa determining what I am able to see with blackouts etc.

Sad that we have to region hop to see them in my opinion. The sooner that nonsense gets done away with the better.

People in this country should be more skeptical, not such suckers. I don't give a shit about any US commercials. The advertisers should consider it a favour that we consumers watch their any of shit at all; we do not need to gripe and cry about not seeing them, as if we lost some great & important opportunity. Those who want to seek them out can do so on youtube or something - but I wouldn't bother. Most of them we will end up seeing later on anyway - enough times that we're sick to death of seeing them, no matter how clever it seemed the first time on game day.
