Importance of Photography in Choosing an Escort
I am really curious about this, I have had people say to me that their ads got hit 7 times more often once they had posted photos in the ad and I have had other people say that it doesn't make much difference at all. I think personally, I wouldnt like to buy unless I had seen the product. What are your thoughts about this??? I would love to have hobbyists and SP's chime in on this topic.

Although I have read plenty of reviews that start off........I was horny soz I grabbed a Georgia Straight.......

By "Good Photography" you are suggesting that home pictures with a digital camera would not be "Good" enough.

Photos are very important to my decisions on who to see, but when they are professional photo shoots I get a little nervous.

Does this picture represent what the person really looks like or is it all deception.

BUt with all due respect, those pictures of that woman are terrible. They can't to alot to increase her business. But, while hardly artful, they are an honest representation.

I agree with you 100% Dave. I have had many ladies say to me to NOT retouch their pictures at all, because they dont want to misrepresent themselves in them.

I think we are buying the fantasy here though in alot of respects; so nice hair, makeup, teeth etc. in a well presented shot conveys a better image of the SP caring about her image and presentation. This may be an indicator of a woman who cares about what she is doing and is interested in showing it to potential clients. IMHO

Important, yes, I mean, you wouldn't pick up a SW without first driving by and checking her out.

As for the yahoo photo above, I agree, that photo is real, and lets me know in advance what the girl "really" looks like. Not what the photographers "art vision" is.

Ava is one of the best reviewed ladies here and in my opinion it is directly related to her honest pictures.

Her pictures give me a true representation of who she really is and what I can expect and because of that I plan on seeing her in the near future.

Glam Pics could be a source of negative reviews for some SPs.

I have seen many reviews stating "that must have been her high school picture, she has to be over 40 now" which isn't a problem if I am looking for time with someone over 40.

I just don't want a 3 dressed up as a 9.

Understood, people should update their pictures every year or so. In looking at pictures though, I do wonder if we are not, in some ways: "buying the fantasy??" For me, if the fantasy isnt there, I don't know why I would bother seeing the SP, I think I would just go and pick up someone in a bar.

I think it's another "different markets" argument. I definately appreciate artistic photography and feel that it says alot about the sp. I really don't need to see graphic photos to make a decision regarding who I'll see. It strikes me as uneccessary. I already know what the standard issue female anatomy looks like - no need for a sp to showcase it on her website.

As long as the photos aren't so artistic that I can't get a general idea of what the sp looks like, I'm all for the artistic shots....honest ones though. Don't take a nice shot and then photoshop the hell out of it to make it "perfect".

I understand the "honest photos" bit, but when I see the pics that a sp obviously took herself, I can't help but think they just can't afford good photos. Even though I understand that's probably not the case, that's what comes to mind when I see the do it yourself type photos.

The ones that I truly think sps should think twice about are the ones that they not only took themsleves, but also showcase what a sty their home is. I know it's not the background I'm meant to be noticing - but the stained curtains, piles of dirty laundry and cat box in the background can be distracting....and a total turn off even if the woman's hot.

I was going to write this last night....but was way to tired....so here goes......
I think that photos are very important.....why...because as comsumers we need to see what it is we are spending our hard earned money on....and weather the ladys face is hiddin or.... ya shes showing it...at least were seeing most of the goods.......I will not TOFTT for crap in the GS...
Now someone like sp Alexis pics I think are great.....could they be better..Yes...same with Ava...I think shes hot...but would love to see some Pro-photos...good lighting...better poses...etc.....
Will better photos make a differance to the sps ...?????...Yes I think in the long term it will......and the blance is not..I say NOT to makethe sps look sooo fake in the photos.
For me when Im doing a shoot I want to capture the subject....get who they are across.....My # 1 rule keep it real.....make them look natural...but with alittle more sparkel......
Anyway thats just what I think...I am still new here so hope I didint offend...

Dame too sleepy still...last point ......I think photos make or break new Sps.....if you new or just starting as a Sp...get good photos....if your worried about the cost....most photographers will work a deal.....and No not that kind of deal(sickos)....just get them done it will be worth it.

I am not buying a fantasy, I'm just horny!

Too many times I have picked up a girl in the bar and then a day, a week or a month later I run into them or they track me down, now I am painted as an inconsiderate ass for not calling them after, no thanks. (We saw what Freddy thinks of being approached in the mall.)

I avoid picking up women for this exact reason. I don't want this situation, been there done that.

Travelguy if you think all female anatomy looks the same, it's time to see more woman, 'cause they ALL look different.

With that said, I also am not looking for "porn shots" (Ava's pic in the chair is definitely not a porn shot, just very sexy)

And when it comes to "affording" a photo shoot, her finances are her business not mine.

With a picture like the ones I have used, it actually shows her home environment, obviously she keeps it clean and not a run down with stains on the drapes etc.

I am not saying that SPs shouldn't have professional pictures taken,

I just take exception to a poll that is skewed to be used as a sales pitch down the road.

I can hear it now.......

"Look at the poll result, the vast majority of Perb pooners say that you should have GOOD pictures. Not those home made ones."
