After waiting 2 months i finally i recieved my firearms and acquisition licence. WOO HOO!!! Was i stoked.

The celebration was cut short when i saw that they (the government) spelt my middle name wrong. There is only 3 letters to my middle name how could anyone fuck it up?

So i phoned up the firearms licencing center long distance it is based in Miramichi, New Brunswick to see what this means. They tell me the licence is void and to send it back with the corrections and they'll send me a new one. It could take another month.

So my new handgun will have to wait. The only shooting i'll be doing is............well you know. --- Kev

They are obviously underfunded and cannot afford to hire people that give a f@ck and can spell.

It may be quicker to simply change your name legally to conform to the FAC!

Sure VM i'm into getting together again. Lets go look at what he has. I don't really know what i want yet. I'm leaning along the lines of a 1911 tactical. But we'll see.

I'm still going to hook up with Stef and shoot some of his guns he has a huge selection. Including the most powerful handgun to date a S&W .500 revolver. Each cartridge costs 3 dollars, and thats loading them yourself. --- Kev

Kev, I have a Springfield 1911 A1 Fully Loaded. It is a very smoth weapon and I highly recommend it. I also have a Sig P220 which is another awesome weapon if you prefer double action first shot. My Commander is good too but it's 17 years old and the new ones look like they were assembled by farm animals. I like any handgun, as long as it starts with a .4.

Springfield 1911 A1- Loaded thats a nice handgun Hit Man. Thats something i'm looking at. Although for my purposes a Springfield 1911-A1- Long Slide would be better. I want to get in to competiton shooting like ISPA or IDPA.

The Sig is a nice weapon too. I believe they make the 220 in DA/SA as well as DAO.

I agree about the .4. In particular .45 ACP. LOL
