Hello everyone, I'm new to the board and hopefully not going to break any rules here by posting this. I wanted to let you all know that today new campaigns have been launched in opposition of Bill C-36. They apply to both sexworkers and clients, for workers the campaign would consist of taking a "selfie" and holding up a sign that states; I'm NOT a VICTIM! The same thing would apply to clients, except using the phrase; I'm NOT a PERVERT!
You can be as creative as you like in order to protect your identity, obviously we don't want anyone being exposed or participating if they are uncomfortable with the notion of the campaign. Our site is new http://imnotavictim.org and we are hoping to have it filled with all issues and resources surrounding Bill C-36 and for sexworker advocacy in the up and coming weeks. After a few weeks have gone by it is our intention to contact various media outlets and Justice Minister Peter MacKay.
