Ok I don't know how many recent posts (if any) have been about these perb parties in Van. But I'd like to have one. I moved here a short time ago as most of you know, & being indy I haven't met a whole lot of poeple. So maybe there could be another perb party soon & I could check out some of the cool gals & guys in Van. It's embarrasing not to know anyone & I'm sick of running to Vic to see my friends every other weekend! So how 'bout it? Yes?-no?, Maybe so, can we please have one?

Hmmm... I'm still quite new to this forum... what is a PERB party? Do they happen in Victoria? Could they?

I heard the Calgary had some great meetings, Edmonton is famous, and Victoria had some organized by a MP .... it is a start at least.
Somebody has to start it.
Remember, first PA meeting in Vancouver was attended by three people, second by only two, third was attended by four..... number ten was attended by over 50
Start small .... PM people you would like to meet, set up time, date and place .... and just DO IT.

Lisa, the Taboo Sex Show is going on at the convention centre at the end of this week and into the coming weekend. That would sure seem like a good place to meet some people. Maybe have some business cards printed up quick so that you can hand those out. I am sure there are lots of people in the biz attending. Lots of pooners, too. Me, for one. I have seen your pics on BCDarlings, so I have some idea what you look like. I say Hi if I see a tall, pretty and sexy blonde with full lips that I think looks like you.
But this party idea does seem to have some merit. Now that the holidays are over with, maybe something could be planned for the near future.

This is why I wanted to speak to the Van organizer... is it held in a "public" place like a lounge, bar or restaurant? Do we all just "show up" or are reservations made? Would it be possible to reserve a private room somewhere and people pay a cover to, well, cover the costs? A la carte, or munchies provided...? Is there a "Rules of Conduct"? Just mingling/talking?

PAs were ALWAYS lots of fun.
When I retired from organizing Perbert Anonymous meetings, I started "Robson Report" .... still open to all perberts, but a bit smaller and private meetings .... let me know if you would like to join us one day
