Does SP mind if you have Pearly Penile Paules or even know what it is? I am always so worried that someone will freak out when they see it. For those that don't know what it is google it, or check out:

The web page you found has a good picture of pearly penile papules as well as information about them. It is very common for us to see pearly penile papules in the clinic. It is also common for them to be confused with genital warts. I think this is why some SP can get concerned.

Pearly penile papules are perfectly normal and can vary in size and number from person to person. I found one study done in the UK where they found 48% of men attending a sexual health clinic had pearly penile papules. Most men only had a few and they were relatively small.

Are they more common in cut men vs intact men? Or at least more visible? What I've noticed is that I spot them quicker on a cut guy. Of course intact men do have them, but is there some higher likeliness of development if you're cut vs intact?

I have been able to find a few studies that have looked at this. They have found that pearly penile papules are common in all men but men who are uncircumcised (uncut or intact) seemed to have more.

I wonder if it is just easier to notice them if you are circumcised (cut).
