If we suddenly lost the ability to lie, which profession would collapse first?

Lawyers aren’t liars — they’re just professionally trained to tell your version of the truth really, really well. It’s not deception, it’s… strategic storytelling with legal footnotes. If lawyers were liars, courtrooms would be improv shows and we’d all be paying admission instead of legal fees. Besides, if lawyers were actually good at lying, none of us would ever lose a case — and trust me, we do. Repeatedly. Painfully. With receipts.

Truth is, a lie is anything that is not truthful, regardless of intent. When an SP refers to a client as handsome when the SP does not find the client handsome, it is by definition a lie. Sometimes people will gaslight (lie), to qualify the lie as not being a lie, "because there is somebody out there that would find the client hansome".
If I give somebody, anybody a compliment, I mean it. I love to compliment people. And I honestly can find something beautiful in anybody without lying or without fudging the truth. Somebody can be aesthetically unattractive but still have sex appeal. Somebody can be gorgeous and an absolute shit human being. I actually struggle in humiliation dates because I’m much better at compliments than I am with insulting someone. They’re both paid dates tho but I’m definitely lying when I’m putting somebody down. My sub dates are all so sweet and cute in their own ways. Hahaha.
IMHO this falls under Politicians and their agents/agencies.
