They do these sort of meet 'n' greet parties in Calgary and Toronto all the time. They're just drinks and conversation - it gives people a chance to meet casually and L.E. have absolutely no interest in them.

Sydnee had several such parties before she was busted (for different reasons). There were two at Aquarius, where I did a girl named Jordan at one, and Maggie Belair at the other. Maggie and I were laughing at the loud, orgasmic noises coming from the next room. The participants were Ravishing Eluizabeth and a pooner whose handle I don't recall.

Sydnee also had a couple of those parties at her house. At one, I did a very strange lady whose name escapes me (I think it had two "z"s in it) at one of them. The late Foxy was at that one too. Some of the other pooners who attended were DBCooper, Birdboy and Winnipeg Trucker, I think.

Yes I attended one of Sydnees' parties at Aquarius. We also had a get together at Earl's on Main.

I remember that party. It's to my eternal regret that I never did book Foxy afterwards, before she disappeared and later passed. I thought that I had plenty of time, and I clearly was sorely mistaken.

DB Cooper is right, the lady you are referring to was KZ Devill (two 'l's). We had a rather entertaining discussion at that party that I still remember. I wonder what happened to her.

Thanks, it was KZ Devill. She was one of a kind - essentially a lesbian (she had a wife), but with enough bi tendencies to see men once in a while. She was totally uninhibited.

I saw her one other time alone at Sydnee's house a couple of months before the bust. She had some involvement with the Winnipeg arts community, but I don't know any more than that. She was certainly outside my normal comfort zone, but I took a chance and didn't regret it, just like with Lady Pandora in the early 2000s.
