If Google tells you she's a cop...

As an escort, one of the things that you need to deal with is drama, slander, miscellaneous bullshit, and websites that steal your ads, steal your pics, and use them for their own purposes without bothering to tell you or compensate you.

One of the biggest offenders is adultfriendfinder.com. You can recognize it by the tacked on, underlined blue link at the end of a girls ad which reads "My friends and I are on AFF so you can come chat with us there babe.” or something along those lines, followed by a stupid “user name” such as “candy_lick” or “puffy_pink”.

I am not particularly into being used to advertise someone else's business for free, so I do a periodic sweep to get rid of as many of these misleading ads as I can.

The newest round of thieving advertisers, however, are using much, much more malicious tactics.

Yeah.

This what comes up when I google search my number.

It’s still AFF for the most part, or a newer site freehookups.com who are using us escorts to advertise themselves, but now they are using scare tactics, which, incidentally can be quite detrimental to a girl’s income. If you were a nervous new client and wanted to check me out, one of the easiest ways is to google my number. A quick glance down the search results and it looks like I am a cop who is putting 11-15 guys in jail every night just for calling me.

This pisses me off.

A lot.

And, smack dab there in the middle of it is an advertisement for a website that I have always considered pretty legit and drama free, theeroticreview.com, who is a paid advertiser on a lot of these sites.

So!

How can you guys tell if this is a real warning from an honest, caring website or if it is just some asshole who is trying to scare johns away from hookers and onto their crappy dating website? Incidentally, you are going to have to pay a monthly membership, (with NO guarantees of getting laid) to find out that no, my friends and I are NOT waiting for you on AFF, babe. Lame.

Well, good news is, it’s easy to tell the real from the fake. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. You will see, probably in tiny font and in a colour that almost matches the background a link that says "click here to request removal of this ad” or something similar. That's the key to knowing if this is just an aggregator or an actual warning.

I don’t know if this is something that any of you guys have ever run into, but if you have seen it and it has scared you off of trying a new girl, maybe you should consider giving her a second look, because chances are, she’s not actually a cop, just a victim of some greedy jerk who’s advertising for a boring hookup site.

Friken batshit crazy stuff. I got off of AFF the day after registering on it. It has a stalkerish vibe to it.

Still on AM with limited potential for FWB type scenario.

I seem more comfortable as a pooner these days. The SP's I see are drama free and really make me happy.

I did the online dating shit for a decade and found a few who were as good as their profiles. Excluding the unibrow, the revengeful lesbian looking to get even with her partner and the crazy person who didn't tell me her BF was in jail soon to be released.

As a long time advertiser and contributor on perb (the website that has helped me to have a very successful 10+ year career), my rant is about the people who post a lot of bad shit about perb on other websites, because when they promote negative publicity for perb, that has a negative effect on my career.

Can you understand my POV Cherry?

;)

I do see your POV, Lady.
(I'm sorry, I don't know your name)

When it comes to cross-forum pollination, well, it's quite sticky, to say the least. It's hard to say if gossiping on one about the other is actually detrimental, though, because everyone knows that as humans, we love to watch exciting things. When someone says "look at that car crash over there!", immediately half of the bystanders are going to rush over to see what's going on. Who's to say that while they are standing there watching the drama unfold they don't stumble upon someone that they find interesting?

There is a difference between groups of people gossiping about each other publically back and forth, and a computer generated webpage who's only purpose is to advertise one thing by lying about another. The reason that I posted this was because I know that a lot of people just don't realize that computer programs are capable of generating things that look, at first glance, to be completely legitimate and truthful.

That being said, and while I will admit to ranting and blowing off some hot air on an occasion or two, I hope that, at least, we can agree that everyone could benefit from a lot less negativity in general, and, while it is cliche, I'm trying to be the change I want to see in the world, and for me, in part, that includes disseminating information on things that piss me off. As nicely as I can, of course.

I tend to look at 99% of the pics on those sites as being suspect. There are also some on CL/BP etc. that entice you to click on the ad only to be directed to one of these sites. "Click here for my profile and contact info" This has been going on for decades and after a while it's almost easy to pick out the crap from reality. Unfortunately it does impact the income of the lady being taken advantage of.
In Canada copyright law states that as soon as you create something it is covered by copyright. It is always a good idea to register it, but placing a © on the image will help if you ever need to take legal action. If you have a photographer taking your pictures you may need to have him transfer the rights to you.

You can also right click and drag your mouse down to the bottom of the page. Usually any "covert" text will show up.

Personally I think you look better now. The older pic looks as though they have 'shopped it a bit. They kind of washed your face out a bit trying to make it look perfect. I agree that they tried to paste on a new booty, but if you look closely (and I always do :D ) you can see they blew it on the thighs. I have no idea why someone would do this to a pic of a lovely young lady, other than trying to hide where they stole it from.
