Scheer because I am a fiscal Conservative. Not because I support him or all of his policies. I personally don't like him as a leader.

That's the problem we have in this country right now. None of the parties have a leader you can really get behind, regardless of the party, and say I really think this person would be good for our nation.
I've never voted NDP but even I thought guys like Ed Broadbent, Alan Blakely (Sask. Premier), Ed Schreyer (Mb. Premier) were smart guys who could do a good job.

Right now we have Scheer, Trudeau - The Lying, fake Feminist, Selfie King, Trust Fund Baby who is dumb as a post, Singh - Can't find his own ass with both hands and a flashlight, tax and spend Socialist, Ms. May who thinks the solution to the country's problems is for us all to start riding bikes, and Bernier - Borderline facist who formed his own party out of spite and leaves sensitive documents at girlfriend's apartment.

The future isn't looking too bright any way you cut it.

Cheers
J

What a day to post this poll. When the Ethics Commisioner released the report that for the 2nd time Trudeau BROKE the Ethic Rules of being not only an MP but Prime Minister as well.....and then Trudeau defends his actions by saying he was "acting to save Canadian jobs" via Lavscam. The nice thing is that Trudeau brought Lavascam back to life going into the Federal election.

Fuck this is nearly as bad as the Sponsorship Administration scandal under Chretien......how on earth would you want to vote for a lying entitled scumbag who wants to fuck Canada over?

If I could vote in Canada, I would definitely vote for Justin. It’s no contests, he is the most qualified of them all just take a look at the Canadian economy. He supports feminist and LGBTQ rights, he is aware of the environmental disaster that is threatening the planet and is doing what is necessary to save the planet, he is also going to ban guns in Canada to keep people safe.

This so called ethics violation is nothing more than his political enemies trying to de-throne him. He was trying to save peoples jobs by doing a plea bargaining deal. I don't know how often plea bargains are done in Canada but in the US it done frequently to save court costs and come up with reasonable outcomes for all involved. He is one of the most ethical leaders in the world. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Russians had something to do with pushing this witch hunt.

As much as one may want to vote for a particular party and their ideals, at the end of the day, what gets done is the decision of the leader (the PM) and his inner circle. They pic the Cabinet, choosing those who will side with them (or be removed if they don't, case in point JWR), dictate which issues will be brought before the Commons, decide who gets funding for what, etc.
In reality, unless they kiss the leader's ass and get a Cabinet post, your local MP has about as much influence as an opposition back bencher and Lord help them if they ever break ranks and vote against the government/party for what they feel is best for the country, their riding or their conscience.

I would probably vote Liberal. Reason, I don't like the conservative view on on things, sure they are for small/medium business but its all about themselves. Their religious views and leanings, they basically want to tell everyone what to do. With the Liberals its more what they can do for everyone, individual rights, support the people that need supporting etc; unlike the conservatives who would want to spoon feed you their religious crap, cut spending and well needed programs for the population...

Sorry to say the republicians in the states are right wing christians and are shoving it down the peoples throats with abortion laws (through state law not federal- trying to go around ROE vs WADE). I see the same influences here in Canada with conservatives bringing their religious dogma into law for the rest of Canadians...

Politics and Religion should be separate things....

The question you should be asking is does government belong in the hands of the people or the few.

I'd rather have a leader that makes some mistakes and learns from them, and really thinks about the decisions he is going to make; then an politician that is going to lay the law down...

Another thing to look at is the world economy, it has all the signs of going into a recession, with the bond market and the trade war with China and USA.

He also hates women and would be a danger to their reproductive rights.

But my guess is the lounge skews +65 and that's why so many of these guys love him.

A pollster on twitter pointed out that Scheer's problem is he has a 50 point lead in Ab, Sk and Mb, but east of Manitoba he trails the Liberals badly, and that's where the seats are.

I'm sure he'll do well in the backwater provinces, but that's about it.

They are the same people who would vote for Trump, while escorts are fine for him, his Republicans decided the girls down there can't advertise their services. People just don't get the so called Evangelicals who associate with conservatives

The Green Party does not appear to be doing very well in this poll. Many people do not realize that the Greens are no longer a one issue party, but have a very comprehensive, and fairly pragmatic, election platform.
