I was under the impression that this had been the case for some time, is this just a warning of strict policing or am I missing something? Not being a dick, I just want to make sure.
We let a lot of things slide at the beginning of the pandemic, a situation has arisen where we need to enforce it.
As of today it’s okay to post links to advertising, if there a PERB advertiser post a link to that ad. Pictures are not permitted. The exception is anyone posting a warning thread still only 4 numbers for that, we’re not giving free advertising to scam artists.
You don't want to give free advertizing for scamers but photos would make it easier to recognize the scamers helping your members not get ripped off, what this board is all about. The reviews with posted photos in the past, caused the scammers to take down their fake ads pretty quickly.
