Grandpa Henry Singer would be proud. His grandson Jordan Singer held the grand opening of his new youth-oriented casual clothing men's store, Henry's, in part of what used to be the old IGA in Old Strathcona on Thursday night. The joint was packed with young, successful, 25- to 35-year-old men mingling with models in black lingerie. Jordan's pop Fred Singer caters to the casual elegance of an older set at Henry Singer's, while Henry's is after the up-and-comers who don't want to shop at dad's clothing store. Very smart.

I'm a semi-regular at Henry Singers and get junk mail from them all the time. So where was my invitation?

I was in Singers once to buy a shirt and I was looking at one that was so soft and nice color,the price $600.[30 years ago] asked why so much when shirts were $80 to $100 then.
He said it was made of unborn calf leather from aborted cows in Italy.
Never went there since.
And people knock Newfies for killing seals, that make bull mastiffs look small, and have bigger canines then a great dane.
