A SAVAGE LUST GARDEN
Holy Fuck!

I went to to this concert Tuesday night, wow.

It was at a local bar, and I got in right at the beginning to ensure a good seat. Whenever I do go to concerts, (being rush seating or tickets) I have to be the closest I could get. I did and I am so glad.

Most for rock and rolls major music influences can be drawn back to this man. (The Rolling Stones and George Thoroughgood to name a few...)

I missed him last year due to certain unavoidable circumstances. :(

It was a major piece of news at the time, but during Hurricane Katrina, this man had to be pulled from the water. Now, a year later he comes back to "Muddy Waters". (- Winnipeg- )

Enjoying a gin and tonic, my savage sister and I waited for him to begin.

All of sudden she pokes me and says... " Look, there is Bo Diddley"

I turned and no more than 4 feet away, he walked right by me. I cannot express how I felt. I have been 2nd row to Robert Plant and spitting distance to Trent Reznor (NIN) and here is this living legend right in front of me.

He did some of his signature songs such as "The Bo Diddly Song" and "Willie and the hand jive"... I was in awe.

He turns halfway through the show and says " I have been playing for 51 years..." ( He is 78 )

This guy rocked out and played some of the best blues with his signature " Bo Diddley beat" For over 2 hours.

To me, this was like seeing Pink Floyd (Which I have) or Johnny Cash.

One of the most influential blues men of all time.

~All for the unbelievable price of 25$~

If he is coming to a city near you, I suggest you go.
