From her website:

"Please have the courtesy to call if you must cancel an appointment - if you fail to do this, there will be at $35 cancellation fee payable at your next appointment or you will be banned from my client list."

Booked Elizabeth a few weeks ago. Well, after setting everything up, including some yummy texts earlier in the day. I call at the specified time, and no answer. Call again later, and again. Still no answer. Try texting since that seemed to work earlier. No response. Talk about frustrating. I definitely don't want to ban her from my provider list. But since she expects a cancellation fee from a potential client, seems fair to me to expect a cancellation fee from my potential provider.

Maybe you should ask for references next time :p ;)

All joking aside I find this very surprising given Elizabeth's stellar reputation on the boards.

I agree with doglips. I've seen Elizabeth a few times, and she's never once stood me up, or failed to communicate if things were running a little behind. I think that she should have the opportunity to give her side of the story before anyone judges.

I have not responded to this thread yet because I'm trying to place the date and time of the appointment.

To aaahead:

I looked over our pm's so i'm confused on how I stood you up when your last pm was an apology for cancelling on me.
I'm sorry if I happen to ignore our appointment. To be honest the only time I've ever not answered my buzzer was when I saw a gentlemen with a police badge on his hip thru my security camera.
I do have police and RCMP clients but they are honest about there profession. Considering the recent troubles us girls have been going thru, I panicked and didn't answer the buzzer.

If this was you, then I apologies.

To address my cancellation fee, I have never asked anyone to pay it. I understand that life is crazy and unpredicable. If you could tell me the date and time of your appointment I can better answer why I was not there.

Also, if this cancelation upsetted you so much why haven't you contacted me about this? I pride myself on trying to do the best I can in every adventure I take on.
I have always told clients that I appreciate being advised when there was a problem with a session or any other way I can improve on my performance.

Thank you for bringing this situtation to my attention, I hope we can resolve this matter.

Actually, he said he called at the specified time (to get the address, I presume), not that he was at the door. So, it's not likely that was him.

In any case, he should have taken it up with you first, and he shouldn't have waited a few weeks to try to resolve things, in public no less. I've only ever been stood up twice in many years of pooning, and, in both cases, the SP and I settled things privately within 24 hours.

I haven't been able to book a repeat visit with Elizabeth for one reason or another. I personally don't think she was putting me off or whatever but my windows of opportunity just haven't meshed with her available times.

If I would book a specific date and time with Liz or anyone else and the result was a missed visit, I would certainly make every attempt to find out what happened. Emergencies do arise and shit happens but as a professional, an explanation from the SPin question is expected.

I know it can be frustrating triple a head but giving the lady a chance to clear it up would be the thing to do.

Personally, I think Liz is so delicious that I will be very patient and persistent until we can click once more.

it's all good

Yes, I was just poking fun. I was frustrated at the time, and don't always find the time to be on the board. Until yesterday, I think my last post was sometime last year?

No, I didn't cancel in a PM. I used the PM to verify who I was, and thanked her for understanding that I wasn't comfortable providing my real name address phone number and all that stuff. I wasn't able to provide a reference either, as most of the girls I see are retired (Zoe, Mandy). I saw Kyra last year, but only once and didn't think she would remember. (Nice to see that you do. ;) )

And no that wasn't me at the door. I was however all dressed up with no place to go. When you didn't get back to me right away, I thought you were just late, so I headed towards the Donald street bridge since I had read on the boards that that was in the vicinity of your place.

I just thought it would be fun to post this on here as cancellation fees really irk me. Like at the doctor's office. Wouldn't you love to charge them a fee for making you wait a hour in the waiting room? That would be most excellent.

Still looking forward to meeting you some day.

I am truly sorry and I wish I could find the date so you would at least get the reason. But alas that seems to be impossible. I am sorry, and it is great reminder that these sessions should not be taken for granted. That you as an sp were pick for a very special time with your client.
If you so choose to call on me again, I'll be there with bells and whisles on! Also you would get a 50.00 discount!

Again thank you for bringing this to my attention, I always try to do the best I can.

Well, the Dallas Stars just finished lining up to shake hands with the Red Wings.

Bells, whistles and a $50 discount. Sounds like a noisy encounter for triple a.....

Liz, I can't wait to ring your bell and blow your whistle! Yummy.
