Which is the false teaching?
The question for many ... "Is there a God?" and If there is "Why does he allow the tragedies that happen in the world ?"
Of course the answer is right in front of us .. We all see the good things that happen , some we call miracles ,,and we thank god.
Then there are the tragedies , accidents , wars , hunger,, drugs murder ,the death and maiming of millions, and we want to blame God for that .When we know all of that is man made and caused by are attitude . caused by our anger , fear , hatred , greed, lust, ignorance,and just plain not listening to that inner sense , or voice that so often try to keep us from harms way.
Then there are the natural disasters , earth quacks , floods , droughts , storms , slides or any number of events that cause so much damage and all so kill millions of people through the years... I know most of the religion teach that God is in all things and controls all things and nothing happens with out the hand of God . Well that is one of the false teaching that we want to cling to .. Nature happens .. it is set on a program of physical action reaction and it;s course was set from the beginning of the creation .. God does not change the course of the planets , or the asteroids hurdling through space,dons not make the sun live and die .. They are set my laws of physics .. Our planet earth . changes and renews it's self through the billions of years that it has been here with the wind , rain, storms and earth quacks It supplies a place and the means of life ,but with out any knowledge or concern for the life that occupies it.. We are just visitors.
How can you blame God for your own chooses . WE each decide where we want to live , weather it be by the ocean , on an island on a fault that could have an earth quack , or in the down in the nice sunny parts of the country that are known to have hurricanes . Or in rainy ares on hill sides , dry areas, and high in the mountain .. all these places have there natural dangers ,, which we have a responsibility to look out for and made a chose to accept.. There is no blame to be put on our belief in a God .. If you believe in a God then you have to be willing to listen and do what your intuition tells you .. then maybe you will escape some of the dangers of life .
When you ask the question ."Is there a God?" you all so have to ask do i have a sprite that lives for after my mortal body dies .. If you don't believe you live after death .. then you have your easy answer .. You give your self permission to do what ever you want ,good or bad , and be with out remorse or judgment and the only consequences are what you actions bring in the natural life .. Now if you believe you do have a spirit .. then there are many more question . which some time's lead us to believing there is a God .. or something more that we are part of and for many a religious belief is what they use to try to understand it.
As humans we all have to deal with the same human nature .. the me my self and I, that wants to survive , that want to do what they want and have there hearts desires .How we go about get ting that and living our live , depends on the environment we live in , the teaching we accept and how we behave with others .. It all ways is about choses we make even when we think others are making then for us . There also is a our emotions they are the biggest part of how we make decision. How we sort through our feelings , of fear, lust, greed ,hatred , selfishness and love determines how well e function in life and how we burden our spirit .. Believing in some thing other then our selves some time is what we need to understand and look for answers that we don't have ..
Weather Jesus was God , the son of God or just a man thinking the same as you or I .. he thought he had the answer .. Jesus believed there was a God of some kind , that we are spirit and we lived for ever . But he also saw that the Jewish religion kept people away from God and gave then no hope for ever lasting life because it required then to do so many man made things to appease God that did nothing for the spirit , but trapped people in their own fears sin and rejection from God and ever lasting life .. So Jesus told them of the loving God that he knew and gave them a way to repent of there fears and change their attitude and thinking ..
Now the question of truth all ways lays with how you feel in your heart towards God and others Do you feel love as Jesus did or fear .
It does not have to be Christianity changes your attitude toward others and life .. just seeing the true nature of the world as it exists may do that ..seeing the good and evil and making choses based on loving your self and others and dealing with your doubts in a positive way .. This may be enough to quiet your spirit and accept to go on with journey of every lasting life
I can not tell you who , or what God is , i have my own belief and attempt at understanding , but i do believe i am part of some thing greater then my self life experiences has shown me that . A rock may reformed from the elements of the earth and the universe .. be pushed up to form the highest mountains and in time eroded to sand by the forces of nature ..and blown before the wind .. But it to returns to be born a gain,, AS does the tree grow from weakness to a tower of strength and then it also . falls to the ground to nourish new life .. If I were a tree would i consider my life that same as a rock and the sand ? Or as an animal do i see my self the same as the tree ? We all live be the course of nature but we each think of our selves different .. As flesh and blood .. we think , we imagine the unimagined ... and we dream of our future ... If e only are born live .. and die and there is nothing else .. then what is the purpose of our life if all that we were will be forgotten and ground to dust by the one thing that does live for ever natural process of the universe .
