I prefer to not know....

A few months ago I mentioned in a post that I would prefer not to know if somebody posts or reads perb before a session. I find that 9/10 for some reason things turn very awkward quickly. I'm not placing blame on anybody but I would really appreciate not knowing until after the session is over. I treat everybody the same whether I know a person posts or not. I hope nobody gets offended by my request. Thanks.

I think that says a lot about the level of service you provide and the fact you provide it because you have a professional attitude, not just to get a good review. Congratulations sweetie. Truly a class act and a sweetheart.

Excellent Point. I've already been told once that the girls at one studio think that someone else is me, so I'm sure it does happen. Maybe more than we would like to know about. What's to stop any Lurker on this board from using any respected posters name with the hope that he will receive better service. Geez, now I kinda wish you hadn't put that thought in my head. :(

You are right Goesks. Usually people say to me "I read about you on Perb". Depending on when they tell me, that really affects the session. My worst sessions have always been when somebody announces it right at the beginning. Quite often what ends up happening is they tell me exactly how the session is going to go, all the strange things they're going to do to me and that they are in no rush. This annoys me, as I'm sure you guys can understand.

I don't ask anybody what name they use until after the session anyway, and if they volunteer before it ends, I really don't listen or pay attention. Most people tell me they only read Perb, and that they don't post. Which really makes me question why they tell me in the first place.

From now on I will almost go as far to say that I will refuse to see someone if they mention Perb.

good 4 you Rebecca

i am happy to state that i have never told a sp that i am who i am on this board. i take it as a compliment that one of my favorites who reads this board asked me of her own accord if i was me, but i said no. some things are better left a mystery.

i just think it is better for review purposes to just not have her think that you are there to write about her.

it creates unnecessary tension and potential for bias.

Hopfully most of you guys would want me to show you a good time because I want to, not because there is an underlying threat that you could cause me a down slide in business if I don't comply with all your requests, by posting a bad review. By the way, when people mention Perb I am not nearly as friendly to them as the people who don't. I was surprised by Niceguy31's review because he did'nt mention Perb once. I think it's your right to post a review whether its good or bad. I don't need to scan it first. You might not like me. I just don't see the point in mentioning Perb until the session is over, and even then its completely up to you. I hope I am not sounding rude at anytime here because I don't mean to be.

A little different take.

If my intrest in a lady is from all the GOOD things I read at PERB, I would not likely give a review - If the session was good I would be just repeating what brought me to her in the first place, if I was unhappy, YMMV fits.

I see no reason to mention PERB, anymore than their website, Word of mouth. After the session, is the time to say... hey love your pics on the site... or... I really loved the session, and would love to make note of it on a discussion forum

Herman, you are so right! It's such a turn off to walk into a room, have somebody mention Perb and then immediately try to jam their tongue down my throat. Or pull something out that would'nt fit anywhere in my anatomy on a good day. Even just trying to take complete control over the session. It's tempting not to say "um, gee somewhere theres been a misunderstaning, don't I have a say in what you are going to be doing to me in the next hour". I still have to look at myself at the end of the day. It's not like I'm going to allow anything to be done to me that I normally would'nt allow. It's a gaurentee that the mood of the session is killed--no matter what.

VMan............To answer your question, I would probably say 1/20.

Great point Grendleaxe. I like your analogy too!

Grendelaxe, right on...

the review is a way to avoid bad SP's and find good SP's who give us Pooners value for the buck. It should not be used to influence the massage, discussion, or services that a Pooner receives during a session. If that is how it is used, it is as useless as a restaurant critic announcing in advance that he has come to review a particular location. He will always make the establishment on edge and they will attempt to provide the best service and special cuisine that the casual patron may never obtain.

IMHO part of the enjoyment of Pooning, at least during the session, is the illusion that these beautiful Girls actually like me and that the funds have nothing to do with the performance. My most gratifying experience ever was an unexpected Freebie. It really made me want to puff out and Crow like a Rooster - Cock-a-Doodle-Doo! This SP is no more but she will always have a little piece of my heart. Bottom line is that I was a long time regular of hers and she already had a piece of my wallet! She just gave me a special farewell gesture.

Well - Rebecca - as we were in touch because of PERB, and the gal I tried to see was not available - and we thus had an appointment pre-scheduled: nevertheless, knowing I knew about you from PERB, you were certainly a most friednly, pleasant delightful company for me! and I do love your strong, deep massages! What a treat for a traveller, who spent too many hours en route and days behind a computer keyboard!

Thanks!
