I have a dillemna. It is quite hard as many of you know to squirrel away pooning cash under the nose of your ever watchful S.O. When you finally have it and use it, you think about all the stuff you could have bought with it after your hour is up.

"Shit! I could have bought those Sidi race boots!"

My question is this:
Should I be the practical one, and use the money for what I need

or

Should I go see my favorite sp with my hard earned dough and keep riding my sportbike with steeltoe workboots?

If I listen to cannmann jr. like I usually do, I know what he would say......

Depends on how many hours you spend on your bike. If its more than one and you have to cut on other things then go get your shoes. If i was you i'd do both, get the shoes with the SOs knowledge and bang the ho behind her back!:D

Well for me the thoughts of what I could have bought are fleeting, when I'm riding my sportsbike I'm usually thinking I wish I was with one of my fave SP's....that's what occupies most of my thoughts, that and why won't little elvis do encores anymore.

I'm not too sure what is practical but I do know what is responsible. If you start thinking gee I haven't given my SO flowers for a while or taken her out dancing lately then maybe there are other priorities instead of a new pair of Sidi race boots. :)

If you need some ideas for more ways to squirrel away pooning cash let me know, I have an SO imposed budget now but there was a time where I needed to be creative. ;)

weighing in...

On the subject of your dilemma - riding your sports bike with snazzy boots or riding your favorite SP with no boots? :)

I dont look at it like that. A good SP is worth everything you spend on them. Factor them into your budget. A girl you like that you can bang when you want, how you want with no ocward BS is almost intangable in my books. The money is just paper.

That's pretty much my view on this as well. If only I could get the SO to agree with this line of thinking :(

if it wasnt for those sidi boots i would have no ankle left to walk on, they are a very good investment, specially for twisties as for stunting they just get in the way, stiff and uncomfortable.

Opportunity Cost

This hobby is Entertainment. So, what is the next best Entertainment purchase that you would make instead of your pooning purchase? For me, the opportunity cost for each date is often either gambling or a Canuck game. At the end of the month, you should be reasonably happy with your entertainment purchases. Lately I've been staying away from Canuck games (for obvious reasons) and spending more of my entertainment bucks on pooning. No regrets.
