Well, after what I would call the worst 2 weeks of my life, I am in desperate need of a vacation!!! I want to go somewhere warm, but that's not necessary in the right company.. any suggestions on where I could go last minute? I'm thinking next weekend, or MAYBE the weekend after that... but ASAP.

Any girls wanna go on a road trip with me maybe? I just want to get out of town for a few days... clear my head...

I'm thinking more along the lines of VEGAS

but those other suggestions are great too!!! I feel like I want to go alone, but deep down, what would I really do with a whole weekend in vegas by myself?!?!

Thailand sounds like fun, but I don't have my passport yet :( Gotta stick to North America...

Bobbi...

Sorry you've been having a crappy couple weeks. I'm not much of a traveller, so I don't have any suggestions, but maybe a hug will help a bit...

Hope things get better for you real soon...

DOH! Just a heads-up but with all that US Homeland Security, you MAY need a passport to go south of the border too. Not required but strongly suggested, if you want to avoid any hassels. Why not go to Montreal?

Good call Marvin.....

If you are flying...you need a passport, even between US and Canada.

The airlines check your passport in the US before you even board, if you do not have one they will stop you.

The reason the airlines are so sticky is if they fly you to Canada and the Canadians refuse you entry, the airline is responsible to fly you back.

You can drive across and fly from a US city to a US city with only picture ID.

Sorry to hear about your rough bout

This isn't a warm or far away destination, but how about a spa resort. It will help relax you, give you plenty of me time, and you don't have to go through the stress of travelling.

My personal favourite is the Kingfisher in Courtney. Extremely inexpensive, and definately at par in terms of services, techniques and professionalism as some world renouned spas costing 10 times as much (yes, I get around when it comes to spas :)

I would reccomend one of their romance suites (bring a girlfriend, a guy friend, or just take all the spa treatments for yourself). It has a fabulous in suite jacuzzi which looks right out over the beach. This weekend should be great for some storm watching too.

Whatever you decide to do, I hope you enjoy yourself, and manage to reground soon.

All the best!
