No offence,but Sid Minuk is one of those guys who thinks he knows it all,but really is out of touch with todays technology.He's the guy to got to when you need a 75 Dodge Dart fixed,Minuk is too old for the game now,I've heard so many Horror stories come out of there in the past couple years I could write a book.A good mechanic is hard to find,especially an honest one!(BTW I'd supply and install for 8 sessions for the right girl!)

Beg to differ ... Sid is not out of touch at all. Just listen to his Winnipeg radio show every Wednesday night (on 105.5 FM), he's never at a loss to explain a problem - any model - any year. He's been my trusted mechanic for years!

The only other place I might suggest is Fountian Tire downtown on Fort Street. Angelo and his staff are very honest and very efficient.

I fixed 3 fuck-ups that came straight outta Minuks last summer alone(all cadillac's),let's put it this way,he overcharges for labour,marks up the parts(so he makes extra right there for doing Fuck-all).Go there if you've got a fat wallet and like to have parts put on that don't need changing!I laugh my ass of when I hear his radio advice,he's just soo full of shit it's ridiculous,there's got to be better mechanics in WPG,who aren't into screwing their customers!(maybe i'm too honest?)

Edmonton Mod, how about setting up a Winnipeg Lounge and a Winnipeg Escort 411 area for us? Most of us here are too lazy to weed through the 100's of Albertan and BC posts in those other areas to see the few Winnipeg items. And while some SP who are not paid members use the review area to post schedules, the two paid advertisers who post in the proper area get deluged by Alberta and BC PM's whenever they post schedules...

The review section is no place for car/computer advice... but if these threads were posted in the Lounge, they'd get no response...

I don't think you offended anyone. We understand why you posted where you did. If you had posted in "General Discussion" or "The Lounge", not many Winnipeg members would have read your post. That's why each area needs a General Discussion forum of its own.
