I was sitting on a patio on Davie Street today and, good lord, there are a lot of beautiful women in this city. It was a never ending parade of hotties in their crop tops, Lulus, and sun dresses; Black, White, Asian; underwear, thongs, commando. It’s one of the reasons I love summer in Vancouver.
A distant second is camping at one of the many lakes in the province on a smoking hot day and jumping in to cool off. Then emerging to drip dry in the hot sun with a cold one from the cooler in hand.
Or taking in some music at one of the many Festivals with thousands of my besties (Jazz, Folk, Italian Day, Car Free Day … all of them).
Vancouver (and BC) has its problems, but when the sun is shining I can sweep it all under the carpet for a few hours.
