I lost my FUCKING PHONE NUMBER

Ok can I just vent about this and everyone can be nice to me cuz I've been crying and hyperventilating for most of the morning?

So I went to log into TextNow this AM as I usually do because I'm a workaholic, and lo and behold... my account has been deleted due to a violation of the TOS. After chatting with them, they told me the only way to get anything close to access to my account again will require a subpoena filled out by the POLICE.

This means:
-I've lost my phone number, so none of my clients can text me and a bunch of them will likely think I'm ignoring them
-I've lost all conversation history, so I can't look back and see what we've talked about before a session to refresh my memory about the client
-My brand new sexy business cards are now useless as my old phone number is on them

And here's my to do list (HOURS of unpaid work):
-call the cops and probably go into the station to get this subpoena filled out
-go to fido and get a dual sim if that’s gonna work and if not a new phone
-go through all my emails and get phone numbers and let everyone know my number has changed (this will take at least 8-10h)
-go through my whole address book and message every client I’ve saved with my new number (this will take at least 8-10h)
-change all my ads with a new phone number
-wait for the subpoena to come through and message all THOSE clients with my new number (probably 10h+)

ANYWAYS HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN TEN DAYS TO ME!

All of this is happening right after I officially registered my business with the government and open an official business account with a financial institution (after being rejected by another and going to the media about it). I'm so tired of working in a marginalized industry. I'm just so. FUCKING. TIRED. Being resilient is exhausting.

The CRTC says that you own your phone number, not your provider. If they can't re-enable your account, try to force them to transfer the phone number to another provider for you. Any idea what ToS rule was violated?

And good on you for registering your business and getting the banking set up. I did all that stuff many years ago and it was easy as pie. No-one ever thought to question my right to do so. In fact they were eager to help. It should have been the same for you. Of course I'm a white male in what is generally seen as a "legitimate" business.
