i-Line Phones?

I'm thinking about switching to an i-Line phone from the People's Telephone Company for my home office. I have a cable PC connection through Rogers, and I'm using Windows XP.

Have any PERB folks used it?
Does it work well? Are there any problems?
I'd appreciate some feedback.

What's an i-line ?
I assume you mean voip? Telephone over the internet connection?
If so, I looked into this some time back for a friend and found Dolphin to be the best value in Van. Never heard of the company you mentioned. They seem to be out of Minnesota or some l=place out east.
One thing to know about it is you have only one phone jack, so you'd need one of those cordless phones that can have multiple remote handsets off of one main base set. Costco is great for these. I got the little Uniden ones, they're tiny, almost like cell phones.

I'd suggest reading what people say in a forum that's geared towards the product. You'll get alot more from it.

They have an ad on page 89 of this week's Georgia Straight. And there is a mention of VOLP, whatever that is.

I have this service through Time-Warner cable and I save a lot of dough every month. It is great to have the unlimited free long distance to anywhere in the U.S. or Canada. Reception is excellent, too.
