I know, I know. The nudie bar scene in Wpg. is pretty darn pathetic. I can't even remember the last time I was in a local establishment.
Unfortunately I have a feeling I'm going to be going again soon. :doh:

I have a few of my big clients coming in to town for meetings next week and they always want to go to a strip club. In the past I've tried to convince them to go out elsewhere but a couple of the guys, whose wives keep them on a pretty short leash at home, always use this as an excuse to go.
Last year I was fortunate enough that I was sick with a bad cold so I had an excuse not to go.
Anyway if anyone has a recommendation I'd appreciate it. I think there is only Teasers and The Gentleman's Club still operating.

Isn't that the Stock Exchange Hotel? We used to go for beers there after playing hockey at Pioneer Arena.
Come to think of it there were usually at least a couple of ladies who would have gotten naked for a couple of bucks. :eek:

I only know the Gentlemans club for a place that is solely for shows. Not bad there though last time te rotation was only 4 or 5 girls of dubious quality. This was a few months ago and I only go once in a blue moon

Depending on what day/ time. I would recommend teasers (not the nicest) but prob best shows, fri, Saturday is five girls dancing at once @ 5 pm.
Lipstixx is a brand new Reno. Nice but pricey drinks. Full search at door.

Gents club is now solid gold, small, expensive but nice. Miss nude comp Feb 5,6,7 thurs & fri. finals Saturday.

Haven't been to Gentleman's Club/Solid Gold for a few years. Wasn't impressed last time. Drinks were way overpriced and I found the staff rude. Paid the cover (I think it was $10.00) then they insist on us checking our coats for another 5 or 6 bucks. Too much time between shows. There were a couple of girls selling private shows but they spent most of the night sitting and talking with what appeared to be their friends.

Last at Teasers a couple of years ago. Had a decent time but the girls were nothing to write home about and the crowd seemed a bit sketchy. One of the guys I'm with is in the Men's room and some clown accuses him of being a cop who busted him previously. This guy is a businessman from Indianapolis and almost gets beat up, if a bouncer hadn't walked it to take a piss about the same time. Later the same guy comes over to our table and issues a half assed apology because his buddy's told him he was mistaken.

its been ages since i have tried the strip club scene in the peg. It is simply just way better elsewhere. That said, teasers seems to be updated. Are the lap dances fun?*

*I prefer strip clubs for the tease and promise never fulfilled but still quite exciting in its own right. I know some are looking for a more liberal approach to clubs, but I haven't had a girl actual do a lap dance ever in winnipeg. Has anyone tried a private dance at teasers?

For those knocking strippers in Wpg , better take another look.

Better off to book a theme suite and hire a couple of girls for a few hours of fun.

I thought of that but I'm not sure who to contact or how much it would cost to get a couple of strippers to come hang out with us for a few hours. Of course anything beyond that would be between them and the guys. I also thought about hiring a couple of SP's but SP's want their regular hourly rate and I'm not paying that for them to simply come, strip, have a drink and hang out for a while. Plus with the new law the last thing I need is some charge for arranging the whole thing if some pay for play does occur.

I may go check out a couple of places on the weekend.
Of course like any good Double Naught Spy, I'll be in disguise. ;)

Yeah SP's could be pricey. Give Superb Entertainment a call. They book some of the strippers, at least they might be able to steer you in the right direction.
