I keep losing my Poppy

and it is pissing me off. I have stuck the pin in my
lapel horizontally, vertically and diagonally nothing
works. Am I the only one this happens to. Yea I know
.. I can always try sticking the pin up my ass. Just
thought I would get that one out of the way.
They must have some how-to videos on youtube for proper
poppy pinning

Try this:

1 - Insert the pin through your lapel.

2 - grab the head of the pin at the center of the poppy and withdraw it until the pin point is under the poppy.

3 - Then push the pin though the outer edge of the poppy to lock the pin onto your lapel.

I've been putting a safety pin in my poppy for a couple years. I still have the same poppy, and take it out every November

I used to keep my poppy for years too but now I decided that I should buy a new one or two every year. Put a toonie in the box and take a poppy. Hopefully the money goes to help a veteren somewhere.

Cut a piece of an eraser from a tip of a pencil. Poke the pin through the eraser and use it as a stopper on the underside of the poppy. Your poppy isn't going anywhere.

The same concept as an earing !

This is exactly what I do. I haven't lost a poppy in years. Actually, that's not true, every year I manage to lose a single poppy, because after Remembrance Day, I put it away somewhere, and never find it again. I never lose a poppy while wearing it, however.

They had a more "expensive" option for poppies at our mall that have a Veterens day pin in the center; I bought one of those.

Good thing I just read this over before posting: I just wrote poopies! haha...
