According to Fox "news" MLK would have been a republican for sure
I never look or listen to Fox. Are you kidding me they said that about MLK? They are a delusional lot for sure.

I stood on the very spot where he made that famous speech and looking up the Mall in DC it is unfathomable as to how many people attended that speech.
That whole Lincoln Memorial has a lot of spirituality about it and I spent the better part of the evening just watching people as they viewed Lincoln and the spot where MLK gave his speech. Every five minutes or so, a man would use some of his water to put on the engraving in the stone so people could take better quality pictures of "the spot".

there was a clip on Yahoo earlier this week, referencing a May or June 1967 interview where MLK said his dream was turning
into a nightmare, where he felt his message of peace was changing due to young radicals,i.e. black panthers.

I listened to the speech last night and was deeply moved (again) by the dream of a man with a vision of a better world. Unfortunately 50 years later the dream still isn't fully realized, in the US or the world over...it made me sad to think that there's issues and atrocities happening such as Syria, the recent bombings in Bagdad again killing hundreds in the last few days for example, basically all the shitty things that are happening still based on race, religion, tribalism, nationalism...greeed.
