Regarding the flak over Mr. O’s joke about the soup... man, some people’s panties are too tight or something. While I didn’t find it LMFAO funny, it was mildly amusing if not perhaps somewhat immature. But I don’t see it as anything more than a joke either. People on this board and in general need to lighten up a bit. People getting upset to the point of making threats with baseball bats over a joke on the internet from someone they don’t even know? Man oh man!!! I don’t see people complaining about jokes about Ukranians, Newfies, the English, the Irish, blondes, bald people etc. etc. I forget the movie, where the drive through girl asks if anyone has seen “Mike Hunt”? Oh my gosh, that would be devastating if that really happened!! Golly gee whiz!!! Almost all humor is about making fun of someone. May-be all humor should be banned?? Do people say they’re offended when the English are called Limeys or the German are called Krauts... not likely. But, soon as there is anything about some non-white group it’s offensive, it’s discrimination. If it bothers you it’s because of your own insecurities. People are always looking for some reason to complain and say they are being discriminated against, being treated unfairly. It has gotten way out of control. Yeah, there are real injustices in this world, but if someone can’t take a joke, something is way out of whack. Anyway Mr. O, keep doing what you’re doing... not that you wouldn’t! As far as Tianna’s joke, I didn’t think it was funny, but who the hell cares... blow it off and move on!

I agree with the comment above from CJ.
As so many here read the story & had to ASS-U-ME that my SO & I were deliberately being rude to the waiter, that is NOT the case.
She was a long time customer of that restaraunt before myself & they enjoyed her patronage. (how could they not she is HOT! & has a great sense of humour)
After the prank the waiter was right there with us laughing.
On our return visits we were not treated as normal customers anymore but rather as friends.
They always showed an interest in what we were doing & I would crack jokes for them upon request. (even the cooks would come out to hear them)
I do that at many restaraunts I frequent as most the staff there love my humour.
Some even ask me to write down my jokes for them, a bit annoying but I do it to make them happy.
They enjoyed our patronage & it was more like going to a friends place than just some restaraunt.
MANY on this board ASS-U-ME to know me but you are way off base.

I make people laugh everywhere I go & I do things out of the ordinary to keep it fresh.
I have never had a girl tell me I was a boring date! (maybe not as wild as they were but not boring!)
There is too much negativity & sadness in this world already & I try NOT to add to it.
So instead of giving terse boring responses to questions or being overdramatic in conversation I tend to try & lighten things up a bit & clear the stuffy air.
I find that people feel better about themselves & everyone enjoys thier time more when there is humour injected!

My first job was waitressing when I was 16yrs. got me through college. I really enjoyed customers that a sense of humour. (made my day) I guess depending of what "kind of sense of humour you are comfortable with" . With me I always enjoyed a wacked sense of humour & enjoy practical jokes from my customers. Life sometimes is too serious, life is too short, enjoy jokes, have fun. I just thought I would add my own experience being a waitress in the passed. Each to their own, depending how comfortable you are with a little joke/fun. Don't sweat the small stuff, enjoy life.

I joke around with lots of people, and Ill look you dead straight in the eyes.. with a big sloppy grin on my face when I do it! I even say that Im joking right away.. I don't dragg it out, and pretend to be serious, I'm never threatening in any way. It does take less muscles to smile than it does to frown and I do laugh alot, so hopefully I'll have a youthful glow forever I think some people should lighten up ,.. life is here for us to live feel and enjoy. That's what I intend on doing!!
