....east van, I recently moved from Yaletown to get more bang for my mortgage buck - check.

However, although I poon very rarely, maybe twice a year if that, I find myself in the dead zone, a vacuous chasm of nothing. It seems to me the 2 zones are:

- the big 3: Delta/Surrey/Langley
- Downtown core

what's a guy to do, I dont like travelling far.

No mans land is like Yukon or NWT. you sound like me when I lived in the west end.'kitsilano? I have to cross a bridge? no way! ' :(

Suck it up buttercup.

outcall? do any providers actually do that? I haven't found one yet, although I had a few who said they were on their way over, but that was in 2013 and I dont think they're gonna make it.

Sounds like you are in no women land. Ers has ads for these locales - Vancouver
North Shore
Richmond
Burnaby/NewWest
Delta/Surrey/Langley
Tricities/Pitt/Maple
Fraser Valley
Whistler
White Rock

Where the find are you? Yukon or NWT which are truly no women lands

Best advice I have heard all day. If you can't cycle, drive, take a cab, or bus to a pooning centre 15mins from your homebase, then enjoy another round of Call of Duty with your on-line bro's, or hit Commercial and enjoy a good Latte next to a re-purposed dishwasher shop, then wank on Saturdays to avoid the burden of transportation. There are some really nice girls in Bby, but you gotta get there. I hear Metrotown is bring'in sexy back with Mini-skirt Mondays, and Yaletown doesn't start with a 'Y' for noth'in. OK, kidding, but really, GVRD is pooning central in B.C., and lazy farts are lonely farts. Get a fucking moped dude!

Lovingly,

-Punt.

I think it is commendable that you want to stick with sites within walking distance (at least, that is the implication in what you post), however, there are only a few sites in the city where that is possible. But, by NA standards, Vancouver does have an excellent transit system and it really doesn't take long to many possibilities if you are willing to make use of the system and travel a few minutes.

Thanks for my Tuesday morning chuckle, everyone! And to the OP, I wouldn't mind travelling just a few minutes for a great experience. You might find someone within walking distance, no matter where you lived. But would it be the lady whose company you really enjoyed? That would be like the dream of walking to work or working from home. Commendable but not that easy to make happen! My West End location is a 10 or 20 minute drive, depending which East Van friend I am visiting. Do I wish they lived within walking distance? No, it never even crosses my mind! Do I visit friends in Burnaby? Yes but OMG, it's a 30-minute drive, so I don't offer to do so in rush hour! :pound:

Lastly, the streets of Vancouver are really quite quiet mid-day. You need to get out more often! <3

And you have this problem twice a year? Where's that thread on First World Problems...

This is going to be fun for you , and you will love living in the east end. The outside is a bit grungy but the heart of the people and the area beats louder than any other community in Vancouver . Plus theres lots of people to laugh at and cheap good food and beer. Its really a positive environment being around hard working people and creative types. Just the other day I met an amazing artist and we hung out and drank coffee then took a walk then did a TRX type deal workout at the studio then went and ate delicious indian food . walked everywhere it was awesome ... thats what its like.

I just laughed so hard at that. I worked at a restaurant on Commercial one summer and that is SO accurate :p The Drive is a crazy place.

In terms of transiting to visit an SP, I can understand why that could be a little annoying regarding bus times etc., but honestly Vancouver transit is pretty darn great IMO.

guess i struck a chord, well I am as mobile as the next guy but a lazy pooner, i would like some action, sure, but I want it to fall in my lap, literally. Heck there are micros running out of this condo tower I live in LOL, the cops were around the other day, just outside, hovering, looking for passports and a few "new girls in town", I hear the strata isnt too happy about it and the war is starting. Going to dash out for some Pho now since thats the only delicacy in the neighbourhood. Any lovely ladies care to join me? It would be outcall of course.
