I am Learning to Eat Chocolate: Part II – SLOW DATC!

It took me many years to realize that creating pleasure for a woman required as much patience as skill. When I was younger, I thought that ‘maximus flickorous’ was the way to a woman’s orgasm. Oh, what a naïve little punty-wunty! It took time. A loooong time. Then, with the gracious help of lovely femme’s, I learned that a slow, patient, purposeful pressure would accelerate the experience faster than anything my 1980`s disco tongue gymnastics or 2010 hip-hop tip-popping could bring. Thus began a slow wonderful journey of patience and practice which seems to be appreciated today.

At the time, I guess I thought I was doing OK, but in fact, I had only marginal technique. Not good enough. Since then, I have learned to “zen in”. I focus all my energy, thought, sensuality on a slow vital pivot point. There is no rush. My tongue slowly wraps itself around the flavor bud, filling every crevice in a methodical and fulfilling drama. My taste buds slowly absorb every olfactory nuance, every morsel of nectar, every molecule of flavor. When there is no surface area left un-attended, I rub the nub ever so slowly across the bridge of my mouth, the front of my teeth, tour-de-gums, and then preciously administer the taunt lip oval. And that is just with a small morsel of chocolate!

Oh yes, Oh YES! The feeling of a cocoa nib melting on the roof of the mouth with the tongue oscillating slowly from below is pure heaven. The blessing of a cocoa-robed love muscle languishing across the top and bottom of the mouth—slowly—where the teeth scallop over by the gums. Filling those pico-crevices with melted chocolate essence I shall! Mmmmm, and the pleasure of the last chocolate particles melting on the back of my tongue, as it hunts down the final uncoated centimeters. Folks, this is my version of DAT-C. You can take a small square of chocolate and do DAT-C with it for 10 mins. Trust me, you can do it. I didn’t believe I could because I had not practiced it, and all my instincts told me to chew and swallow, chew, swallow, chew, swallow. But I don`t do it any more! Instead, I am learning to Melt it. Distribute it. Savour it, until there is nothing unmelted left to savour. And then I try to hunt around for a few morsels more that I can re-coat my pallet with. This is DAT-C. This is now how I am Learning to Eat Chocolate. It is good, but I think I have a long way to go. So any additional DAT-C wisdom would be most appreciated…
