And this is with a Firefox browser with the FasterFox extension on it too.

I am using Telus as well, here are my stats

Telus High-Speed Enhanced
Download: 2080 kbps
Upload: 366 kbps

Try unplugging your modem for a couple of minutes, then replug. Telus guy says if your modem is too close to your tower a static charge can build up which slows down your connection speeed.

Upload Speed: 430 kbps (53.8 KB/sec transfer rate)

And this is after following the above advice to shut off my modem for a bit.
I'm going to do again, but shut everything off while I'm at work.

Wolvie, if you are comfortable with reinstalling Windows on your PC, that might be worth a shot too. You could have some junkware or spyware on there that is slowing you down. Telus also never misses a chance to blow off the problem, so if you reinstall Windows at least they can't blame the software.
