It will challenge the way you think,

on Netflix
for some of you anyway,

In a nut shell
It says were all connected,
the most common set up is relationships, were wired for relationships. and democracy and caring and loving and all of that,
Its hard wired into us, and makes the world a better place.

In many cultures, owning more then you own, is called Mental illness.

In nature, using or collecting more then an organism actually needs is cancer and results in death of an organism.

A lot of great thinkers seem to believe we need a fundamental shift in our philosophy the way the world works, or we will become extinct.

Something called quantum entanglement, Thanks to Einstein science is proven or is trying to prove that every human being and living thing is connected.

Apparently, "the basis of human nature is cooperation and democracy. It's in our DNA."

Thank you for the info, sevenofnine, I know what I'll be doing this weekend! Go Netflix!

If one brakes it down to the exstreams of quantum physics.. Yes i think we are all connected.. We are all only.. atoms.. a make up of. different size atoms.. .with mutable variation. of elctrons and protons.. . that group to gether in differing densitities. to have form and
substance.... Negative and positive . charges. that attract and repel..

What seperats life from.. inanimate.. seem to be. a spirit... which forms a concenious.. or awear ness...that we live and die..
Where as a rock. exites.. .even after it erodes.. we assume they have . no life force.. or .will .
Even though. we each have atoms.. which in themselves.. are alive.

Of course this conectivity.. that this being talked about in the doc.. is. mankind.. connected. one to each other.... Of course we are.. but it is our me tal awearness. of indavidualiy that cause us to be separate. and aline with different ideas and ideals.. which help determined
how we view others....

Our shared sence of love and caring . for everyone.. is over shadowed. by many peoples .need or desire to bd accepted. by though in tbere imediate circle of acquaintances.. .and not to come into co.flick with differing ideas.. We like to protect our life. So fear..and compliancs do.inate more then love your fellow man.

This is the choise that comes with. consciousness..of ones existence.. and mortality

Thanks for alerting us 7of9. Sounds interesting, and follows along with a lot of things I've been dipping into recently.
Consciousness, energy medicine, and new way of thinking and living. And yes, we are also connected.
Think of Avatar. Was that film just one of many starting to suggest the idea of connectedness of all beings, starting to normalize that idea?
(And was James Cameron consciously aware of that?)

Einstein suggested that at the core of atoms it is all energy. So, we are made up of energy with a lot of space between each atom.
Think of the universe and galaxies... with the distance between them. That also is a model of our bodies, with vast distances between the atoms (relative to size).
And what is holding it altogether? What is also holding the Milky Way together (actually, it is accelerating out and expanding)? That is still a mystery to science although there are theories and hypotheses around dark matter/energy and suchlike. Lots to explore and debate. We think we are so advanced, and yet we know so little. Mainstream science is like the church at the time of Galileo, dismissing revolutionary new ideas. But, in time the suggestion that the earth rotates around the sun and not the other way round was shown to be true. Who doubts that now? If you want to explore further, there are a whole range of authors/scientists who have written about aspects of this 'new knowledge.' One name that comes to mind is Bruce Lipton.

In many cultures? If by many, he means a few hidden in a jungle, maybe. But many is a stretch.
Democracy is in our DNA? Oh boy. Apparently the creator of the film has never read a history book.
I haven't seen the doco yet, so wasn't going to respond. But, I think it is a little more nuanced than this. It will be interesting to see how they argue this.
There is archeological evidence of pre-literate societies that were matriarchal who don't appear to be warlike. And there is a theory that engagement in war on a regular basis coincided with the beginnings and rise of written language and literacy. It is a theory I'm simply recounting, so don't shoot me down for that. I think the argument needs some further exploration.

I agree in that something's are a reach.

They make conclusions that I don't see,

But at the same time things resonated with me I agree with them totally but on a smaller scale.

And I think the point is we are going against the natural order of things, our culture is, our society is.

I dont think man fits in the natural order of things.. we are the anomaly..All though. we share .. genes with all creatures on tbjs planet..
We are not part of earth.. We have come and we will go .. on either to exstiction.. or to thrive on otber planets..

We dont have a a big connection to earth....many claim they do.. but . it ant there...
.A connection to each other.. of course.. But we have so msny mental issues... we take them out on each other.
Not sure why we do it but we do.. and it makes life miserable.... when we should be enjoy each other...
