How to limit yourself in this hobby

When I began in 2011 I was comfortable seeing one girl every month mostly due to the fact that I was fresh in college and did not have enough money to participate in weekly escapades however now that I have a stable career and have the means to, I partake in this hobby one a week. I by no means break the bank doing this but it is true that the more you do this that the less thrill there is. As of late I see an SP every other week but would like to revert it back to once a month.

Any suggestions or tips on how you limited yourself in this hobby?

Keep yourself occupied with other stuff to do and don't check out this website/LL often.

But for most guys it's bad experiences such as getting ripped off, bad service, std's that make them quit or limit themselves.

Boredom is your enemy when it comes to all sorts of money spending activities gambling and escorts chief among them. Identifying other hobbies and interests is a obvious alternative.

Since the new custom home, trip to cabo, and the 370 Z .... Yep I could have done better with a live in GF. It's fun but ouch......... the dollars I could have saved with self maintenance...

One thing to try is wandering around without money in your wallets. If you have ready cash it is pretty easy to spend it but an empty wallet keeps you dry.

Lux if you do not enjoy it do not do it.
I overdid it and got bored to the point that I lost all interest.
Only do it if you really want it bad, don't do it out of boredom.

Just to echo what a few have already said...
Find other things to fill your time. Get a hobby, exercise, read, buy an old house and renovate it.
A couple of years ago I retired from the hobby more out of boredom and frustration with the drop off of acceptable talent here in Wpg. Initially I did find myself being pulled back in whenever I was bored or unoccupied. I'd check out ads on the internet and even view some porn and soon the temptation to call someone up was there. I found if kept myself busy with work, working out, I renovated my 105 year old house, volunteering with a local pet shelter, gardening, etc. I rarely thought about it.
In the past year I have returned to seeing a couple of local ladies but still only once a month or every 6 weeks. I don't have the time to see them more often even if I wanted to LOL!
I'm happier, more balanced, have a really nice old house (all my friends can't believe I did it myself ), and I seem to really enjoy this hobby way more.

the OP says once a week so say $1000 a month. If you have sex more than once a week with your gf, just based on sex it's cheaper. Anything less than that she not much of a gf

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, especially you Jethro.... made a lot of sense. Just to clarify the gf situation (how did I know I would have to address this :doh, I'm not really seeking anyone atm because with school, training, and work I barely have time for myself, much less for a SO... This is one of the reasons that me and my ex moved on even tho we are still very close with one another. But I guess the problem I'm having now is that yes I am getting used to the scene and no longer get those butterflies that I used to get a year ago when seeing someone new. Jethro thank you for you comments and yes I do many of the things you mentioned on a daily basis which keeps me in check, thx for that :thumb:

With the being said the obvious choice is to take a bit of a break and for now I will limit myself to this hobby every 3-4 weeks. Keep the suggestions rolling, good help from some perb bros like Jetm new, and west.
