How to get discounts?

It’s been talked about many times, rates have gone significantly up in the past few years (covid and post covid). How can I keep dipping my stick without going broke? you asked.

Many of my peers will tell you, building relationships and being a returning client will get you there

Nothing is promised but from experience, people tend to be nicer and more accommodating with loyal people

In my personal life, I’m a client in a business that I use almost weekly. They know me well there, they see me walking in and great me by my nickname. I am considered a good client, I buy from them on a regular basis, I am respectful and always on time. They have started to offer me discounts and even sometimes employee discounts. Would they do that to the person that goes to their store once ever 6 months? Probably not

Now I know what you’re going to say “But I want variety” that’s fair, that’s probably why you’re seeing SWs in the first place. Nothing stops you from alternating and doing New girl — Regular — New girl — New girl — Regular

As long as there’s some sort of mutual trust, respect and some kind of regular encounters I think you’d be ok.

Now this might not work with everyone but I have heard from friends about the arrangements they have with some clients and the “rates are way too high now” crowd would be jealous

Strongly agree with everything, but especially with how they'd be jealous with the sweet arrangements people make! My regulars know that if they want to take me traveling, I'm very happy, generous, and professional in my negotiations with them 🥰

A few of my friends have upped their rates recently, some after seeing people complaining privately (directly to them) and publicly about how the rates are too high now. Visit the ladies of your dreams sooner, or they might completely slip away later! 😱 Out of reach, or fully out of contact 💫 I'm pretty certain I will raise my rates in the new year too.

As a long time participant in the game, I think there is another part of the business.
I pay the rate, but as a long time client, I tend to get more.
So rather than a try for the same for less, stay the same rate and get more.

I have other clients that I’ve had for years that I’m just very comfy with. Old friends at this point. If I raise my rates, my old clients have the option to stay at the old rate, pay the new rate, or meet in the middle. It’s up to them. I don’t book back to back and don’t wear a watch or keep a clock in my room so I’m never a clock watcher anyways. But I do like it when people just respect my time.

Im careful to attract people who I want to spend time with. So hopefully everybody becomes an old friend at some point 💕

Someone posted on Twitter that 30 mins clients want to be treated like arrangements. I kind of agree, they are sometimes demanding.

I treat everyone the same whether it’s 30 mins or 30 hours however we probably won’t have time to do all the things on your list if you book 30 mins. I also won’t be taking outfit requests or pulling the massage table out halfway through the rendezvous

Loyalty does yield some added perks. From experience, a lady I've visited many times has been cool with going longer than the scheduled time, and being more affectionate. Outside of that, she also has kept in touch to make sure I'm still staying the course with my sobriety.

If she offers a discount, that is her prerogative for loyal customers.

I dont even ask my best friends for discounts at their businesses why would i ask my favourite provider for a discount, i come see her because i want to, this has served me well both in both scenario’s.

discounts and special treatment are earned they are not part of any equation like buy one get one free. In my own personal business it has taken many of my customers some time to figure out how i also work in this way, i have done a lot of free work for returning customers, but again they have earned that from me. I am not saying sps have to be like this but usually there is more wiggle room.

I always pay folks I’ve hired for a long time MORE. I’d never expect a discount from my hairstylist or physiotherapist or at my favourite restaurants. I tip my best friends generously. If someone’s rates go up I will always pay them even if I have an option not to.

I have a special friend I have seen more than a dozen times over the last 2 years. I have never once even suggested she give me a discount. Even if things have been slow and ahe drops her rate temporarily, I pay her normal rates, because I genuine care about her and her business.

The benefit of a long-running relationship plays out in different ways; she'll waive her 24 hour booking rule and see me on short notice if I get some free time. Our interactions have gone from fun to absolutely divine. She sends me messages on occasion to say she hopes I have a good week or that she is thinking good thoughts for me. She knows all my goals and pursuits and actively asks for updates and takes an interest in me and my successes.

I never barter, I never push boundaries, I never ask for things she doesn't do/enjoy. And the pay off is that I have made a genuine friend who cares.

And that is worth more than any discount.

I dislike when my clients hint for discounts and I never ask for one.
Even when I get those "reward" cards from small businesses, I never use them for discounts. If it's On Sale, then I will take them.

As some have posted above, if I book say a 2 hours session over a 1 ( say for just a massage), i will pay double the regular price as all they ( and myself) sell is our time and expertise.

However, I will discount bills for my clients in certain conditions. Younger ones just starting out and who could use a break, etc

I don’t want cheap energy anywhere in my life. I don’t want it from my friends, family, and especially clients. I took half hours off my site for the longest time for that reason. But then I decided, I like half hours sometimes. Just cause a person gets half hours does not mean he’s cheap. Could be in a hurry. Could be that’s all the time he needs. Negotiators and best bang for your buck people get told we’re not compatible pretty early in the text conversation. Whether I am a “ho” or not is beside the point. Treat me like one and we can’t be friends.
